CF/Qvist on the back burner for now.  Open question to everyone: why did scum kill eevee over myself or voltgloss?

The answer is either anti-town or WIFOM.

Or as I answered before - you could be scum.

I do and don't like this Cuzz wagon. I won't be joining it a wagon this fast has to have scum.

Vote: Captain_Frisk

Voting for the biggest wagon and then hedging by oh my votes a joke guys. Not gonna fly with me.

Alright for clarity. I don't like this Cuzz wagon because it grew to fast it gave me a town read on Cuzz. I DO like this wagon because that implies there is scum on the wagon and hey I like free scum reads.

Finger of Suspicion retracted.

CF:  could you explain again your reasoning for excluding Qvist from your "scummy 5" theory?  Does Qvist's behavior after you announced that theory cause you to question that read?

I'll go back and reread, but I excluded him because his tunneling on me on day 1 read way too aggressive to be newbie scum play - just as I view TheMunch's craziness as not plausible scum play.

I have tons of IRL work to do so I wont be as thorough until later this evening but there was a case I was going to post on Frisk yesterday but the day ended.  This from yesterday hints at the content:
Vote: Joth

I'm very confused by Captain Frisk play here.  First he calls me out with the hypothetical scenario "if we are about to mislynch a PR then we should want to know that and the person who is going to let us know that is the PR we are about to lynch; this way we dont mislynch and do scum's dirty work for them."  This sounds too much to me like Frisk already knows what Joth is going to claim, which is very dependent on Joth's allignment.  The only person I can see that knows both Joth's allignment and what he is going to claim is his scum buddy.  Perhaps he thinks Joth was breadcrumbing it with his "should I claim" question.

Without a breadcrumb, I cant believe this.

Basically now that we've known Joth flipped scum, it is becoming increasingly evident to me that Frisk is Joth's Scumbuddy.  Frisk wanted Joth to claim, he votes to put pressure on Joth, then I hammer before he can unvote after the claim.  Also I would like everyone to note these posts after I hammered:
Did you just hammer a town PR?
Without even waiting for a counterclaim?
This sounds very much like the plan was to use joth to fish out a counterclaim and they are both very upset that their plan didn't work.  They didn't get to figure out who the real doctor is and this ruined their plan.  I honestly think Frisk thought he could keep Joth alive with a quick unvote but it was not coordinated enough.

PPE: I will also be reading

This is a terrible argument.  I promise that if you are town, and continue to tunnel on me, we're going to have a real tough time winning - since we only have 1 mislynch.

I would suggest we all reread Day 2 through the lens of "joth=scum/Eevee=town" and see what conclusions we can draw.  I'll be doing the same.

In particular, Axxle's presence on joth's wagon has me questioning my scumread on Axxle.  Yes, bussing is a thing, but I'm not so sure that Axxle's vote fits that rubric.  So I'll be rereading with a particular eye to Axxle.  And my other particular eye to someone I lack a well-developed read on:  Qvist.

Well with my "scummy 5" theory, its gotta be you / Axxle / Asher - and we can afford one mislynch....

959
Why are you talking like cuzz's lynch is imminent and unavoidable?

because if he can't or won't answer my question i'm piling on his wagon too

Well, we do have a decent amount of time (although bankable!), and eevee and my votes are darn near jokes.

If someone really threatened to hammer, I'd unvote to foster further discussion if i felt like it was desirable.

960
If Cuzz is scum, his wagon is all town I think.

If Cuzz is town, there may or may not be scum on it.

I think your vote is the scummiest of all those on the wagon.

I am especially skeptical of the "information lynch" argument, both in general and in this particular case. Before you say you are voting for information, you need to say, who are you going after if Cuzz flips town? Robz? That seems poorly thought out to me. When Robz voted for Cuzz, he presumably didn't know it would cause a contentless-wagon-to-end-all-contentless-wagons. At the time, only Cayvie was voting for Cuzz, with a non-explanation.

The problem is, we get very little information from a Cuzzflip. However, and this is critical, this is Cuzz's fault. This is exactly why lurking and contentlessness are so so bad for town. (sidenote: The same goes for Abra. I am not FOSing you here, Abra, because from f.ds experience new lurkers are usually town. But I am telling you, you need to start talking and making associations. If you don't, absolutely nothing can be learned from your flip.) The main information we get is from Cuzz's vote for Archetype. The problem is that if Cuzz is scum, his vote for Archetype could be coaching. If Cuzz is today's lynch, I will still go after Archetype, whether Cuzz flips town or scum.

Cuzz: can you say something concrete about which people on your wagon are most likely to be scum? Can you make any associations that will give us more information?

Why are you talking like cuzz's lynch is imminent and unavoidable?

So I'm alive... thats fun.

Vote: Captain_Frisk

Sigh....

First I was going to be shocked that you were actually still alive.  I figured you must be the doctor if you hammered without waiting for counter claim, and thus you must be town.

There are however 2 other options:

1. Mafia thought you must be a crazy townie, and then the real doctor will protect you.
2. You are mafia.

You voting for me points toward #1.

That sucks!

963
Skipit.

Actually, with 2 wounds, i have 6 dice?

Even better.  attack less than defense.

WEapon skill -> Kill this mofo.

I misinterpreted Frisk, he meant to use his Weapon token, not class token. Updates will follow soon.

964
Jorbles is trying to get me back for being a bad scumbuddy in some old game.

I used my weapon skill, so I killed this mofo.

In addition to being the title of an excellent 1986 movie, it's also valueable dominion advice.

Radix was owning me in this game:

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201211/28/game-20121128-071214-00d2b19c.html

His deck was thinner (salvager), he had more torturers, more villages, and he got the forge first.

He started in on torturer locking, which was extremely unpleasant, and I was very close to rage quitting.

Around turn 11, the tide turned and I pulled off a triple torturer, and I was able to lock him out, get my own forge, and then clean my deck down into province mode.

Just listen to JCVD people.

I think the Cuzz wagon will have benefits even if it won't result in him getting lynched. I don't know if saying this is stupid (see seaside mafia), but we get information from the positions people take and also on Cuzz's reactions to the pressure he is facing. In my opinion this is the kind of stuff that will actually become relevant ofter some flips.

I'm confused. So you would have hopped on any quickly growing wagon?

I realize this is almost exactly what happened to Grujah D1 in chickengame, where you and he were both town, so I don't necessarily find you scummy for this.

But really, you're voting for me for something entirely unrelated to whether you think I'm scum or not. I don't see how that's good town play.

PPE: Frisk, same applies to you now.

No, I legitimately think your behavior is scummy... AND.... I found the quick wagon interesting.  I even self referenced as I voted.

969
Hmmmm... i can play a class token to effectively dodge this... but no chance of killing.

1 class vs. 3 gold / 1 weapon / 1 wound.

Use Class Token

I thought there was a thread about this already!

I've noticed a few bugs.  Haven't reported all of them.  The two specific ones I remember are that the first Fortress you trash will appear in the trash, and Sir Martin costs $4.  I didn't report Sir Martin.

I think Sir Martin does cost 4.  Thats his special power!

hm, my fingers seem to be typing "vote: cuzz"

time for me to figure out why they're doing that

It's hard to analyze 9 posts worth of content, but the speed with which he comes in and says basically nothing is impressive after being called out for lurking.
