Gravekeeper
cost $2 - Action - Reaction
+2 Cards
---
When you trash a card costing from $3 to $6, you may trash this from your hand, to put that card into your hand.

52
Nitro+
cost $7 - Treasure - Loot - Victory
Choose one: +$3, +1 Buy; or Exile this.
---
If this is in Exile, worth 3vp when scoring.

EDIT: typo fixed.

Way of the Phoenix
Way
Trash this.
Trash a card from your hand, if it's an Action card, gain a Loot.

Firebird's Feather
$7* - Treasure - Loot
$3
+1 Buy
You may gain a card from Trash into your hand.

"Into your hand" is mostly for gaining an odd Copper when you are short of $1.

Perhaps better wording: "Trash this and a card from your hand. If you trashed 2 Action cards, gain a loot." Consistent with Treasure Map.

The original wording let's me trash 1 Fortress twice for Loot.

Travelling Fair, now coming in card format in a Theater near you.

(Yes you can React multiple times.)

Can I play Treasures before revealing this?

55
I have a patron variant for this

Quote
Patron - Action/Reaction - $4
Reveal your hand. +$1
for each type (Action, Attack, etc.) revealed.
-
When something causes you to reveal this (using the word "reveal"), +1 Card.

Do I get another $1 if I play Sponsor to reveal another to draw a Victory card?  I mean, is the card I draw while revealing revealed?

57
Auror Gold
cost $3 - Treasure - Duration
+$3
+1 Buy
The next time you have less than 5 cards in hand at the start of your turn, topdeck this.

The early bird
cost $4 - Treasure - Reaction
+1 Action
+$2
---
At the start of your turn, you may play this from your hand.

Split pile.

When does "the start of your Clean-up" end?
When nothing left to do at "the start of your Clean-up"! And when you don't want to use optional things for that.

I have played 2 Fishermans and 1 Improve.  No card is in my discard pile.  Can I discard a Fisherman and trash the other to gain a Gold?
No!

I do agree, but what makes us sure?  "When you have nothing to discard (before drawing next hand), the start of your Clean-up ends" is also acceptable, isn't it?

It sure is tempting to empty 2 piles out instantly, or 3 if you gain Border Villages. Perhaps a bit too easy an end-game condition.

Also, with different backs, how will players 'shuffle' their deck? Keep going until all the Temptations are where they want them to be, or will there be a special rule like with Stash?

It also can "Attack" other players when I have only a Copper or a Curse.  How about making it provide $2-$3 cost cards?

61
Early wakeup
cost $2 - Treasure
Worth $1 per 2 copies of this left in its pile.

There's no accountability, so be honest.  See this similar thread.

Exhaust
Traits
Directly after playing an Exhaust card, if it is still in play, replay it, leaving there (this doesn't cause another playing), and when you discard it from play, return it to its pile.

Reckless Outpost is evil.

When I play Reckless Outpost, do I gain 2 extra turns, one of which starts with 3-card hand, the other starts with  5-card hand, right?

I do think Reckless should have been written to replay (that doesn't cause another replay) instead of following twice.

So, if I play a Reckless Soothsayer and opponent draws a Moat, can't she reveal it when resolving 2nd Cursing?

Rules Questions / Inherited Knights
« on: December 19, 2022, 09:42:00 am »
When games using Inherited Knights, what happens?

1. Player A chooses a Knight from 10, player B chooses from 9, and so on.
2. Player A picks up the top Knight from shuffled Knights  pile, Player B picks up the next Knight, and so on.
3. None of the above.

Resourceful
When you gain a Resourceful card, you may put an Action card you have in play onto your deck.

I considered letting you topdeck any card, but then I considered how many treasures (especially loot) would make it much easier to keep buying the resourceful cards each turn and empty the pile quickly.

2 Magpies, pile out.

What is the cost of Cheap Wayfarer?

At the start of the turn: $5?
When I gain a Wayfarer: $4?
When I gain a Silver: $2?

Extra gaining as penalty as opposed to reward.

For example, when I gain a Golem or an Overlord, do I gain a Curse?

Not as worded, since it only takes into account.

Dark Dealings - $5
Night
Each other player may gain a Curse to gain a copy of a card you have in play. For each card gained this way, you may gain a copy as well.
If you don't gain anything, gain a Gold onto your deck.

Things of note
1: The person playing Dark Dealings can technically gain a Curse and a copy of whatever another player gains through it. There may be cases where this is desirable, like with a Trader in hand.
2: Even if other players gain cards off of it, you can still opt to not gain a copy of anything to get the Gold onto your deck.
3: All other players choose to gain a Curse and a card before the player of Dark Dealings chooses to gain anything.
4: Other players make their choices starting with the player to the left of the active player and go clockwise.
5: If the Curses are gone nobody else can gain anything off Dark Dealings, but you can still get the Gold onto your deck.
6: This is not actually an attack as everything is optional.

A weird gainer that relies on others to get multiple cards in a turn. While a non-terminal Gold gainer/top-decker may be underpriced at $5, the possible benefits to other players makes this reasonable IMO. Feedback is welcome.

For example, in 4-player games, when only DD is in play and all other 3 players choose to gain a Curse and a DD, 6 cards are gained.  So, I can gain a Curse and a DD 6 times, right?

As worded, you'd gain up to 3 Curses and/or DDs. Because the cards "gained this way" were 3 Curses and 3 DDs.

That said, @Xen3k, I don't see why I would ever take a Curse to get a card when that also lets my opponent get a copy of the same card for free. That would be shooting myself in the foot by gaining a Curse to benefit my opponent just as much as it benefits me.

Now I see what that means.  I thought "for each time opponent gains something, I may {gain a Curse to gain a card I have in play} (as opponent did).
