IMO
Base set: Village
Intrigue: Nobles or Pawn as thet represent new mechanics
Seaside: I think it's one of duration cards, but dunno which one. Caravan maybe or Wharf. Or maybe.. Haven?
Prosperity: GM as the richest richie
Cornucopia: Menagerie, or Fairgrounds for they do show difference between you go for duplicates or not (so is Harvest lol)
Alchemy: Possession as an outstanding card of all Dominion. May be Vineyard as it costs exactly one potion and what else new do we have in Alchemy?
Hinterlands: Noble Brigand or Border village for new mechanic also. Maybe Haggler. Or Farmland.
Dark Ages: for me the face of Dark Ages is definitely Rats. No explanation needed.
Guilds: I think Baker as vanilla card with new mechanic
Adventures: Didn't play yet, but when I think of Adventures I think of Teacher thus it's Reverse, Traveller and Provides tokens and all of that still are new for me.
For the card that is the face of all Dominion... Yeah, maybe it's village because in every expansion we have one or more of it.
