You don't have to worry. ;)
A friend of mine was a Magic player years ago. He learnd Dominion within few turns and went for engines from the start.

I do it like your 2nd option  :)

Today/yesterday there's some bot action going on, spamming threads, maybe that's why.

+1 for Messenger.
I like the atmosphere, the scene with the rushed messenger. His/Her face is hardly visible what's good for imagination. Painting faces is also advanced, one can easily fail trying. (see Chancellor, Harem, Shanty Town)

Well, I guess with Empires announced, we can't expect any future updates here, right?

Royal Carriage in german

sc0UT was uploading German scans of the cards to the wiki for a while, but he only put up Base and Intrigue.  Would you mind helping him out?

I'm busy at the moment, new job, new city, new people, ... Help would be appreciated. ;)
In theory, I can scan and uplaod all the cards but Prince in the long term.

EDIT: Okay, now I feel bad. He was just trying to help, it's not his fault that he was off. Feel free to disregard the top part of my post, I probably was just venting because we're not having a snow day tomorrow.

Snow days are rare nowadays, at least in my part of the country. They've got the plowing down to a science. The best you can hope for now is a cold beer; it's literally so cold that you're likely to get frostbite before you catch the bus.

FTFY

I also find Roadrunner's post way too aggressive.

Anyway, Scheme says to choose a card you have in play (or something, I'm not looking this up at the moment).  It doesn't matter if it's getting discarded or not.

It matters! ;)

At the start of Clean-up this turn, you may choose an Action card you have in play. If you discard it from play this turn, put it on your deck.

There has been some discussion about how to get rid of the mess with big hands in dominion 2.0. Stacking cards and the MMF Mod made huge improvements regarding this issue. Well, I often ask myself why MF have removed the "Show all Cards" button from v1.0 and why the cards aren't stacked when one can scheme cards in the discard phase. Jeff from MF posted something in their forums yesterday that I don't understand, too.

Quote
in this case seeing the order they were played may be important.

So, cards shouldn't be stacked for scheme choices? Can someone explain me in which case the order of play in the past action phase is important when I scheme cards for my next-turn-hand?
Thanks in advance! :)

I'm astonished by how much you're able to fix the awful design of this app ex post facto.  Real respect for this.  As well as internet respect.
Yes, he has 500+ respect just in this thread.

Yes, that and 4 entries in Messages of the Week :)

Why are only crads in hand on the right side alternating on top? Was it a proof of principle for design aspects and good looking? I am more in favour of the alternating thing.

The card counter for urchin und scrying pool is hardly visible. So, stacked cards should always be on top or you should center the red bobble marker.

About the "why should they be punished for my mistakes" thing though - sure it's not my opponent's fault that the I accidentally hit the wrong button (or even worse, I DID click on the right thing but the click didn't register somehow), but my question is why should they profit from a simple fluke on my part? Stealing a win from an accidentally botched winning move can't not be a bit malicious.

This part sounds very selfish to me, like sore loser. No one steals your win, you just give it away. There is no question about profit!

Clicking is part of the game

Edit: had to make a it link so it would go to the correct time.

Nice one!  ;D

I would never ever ask my opponent to resign. In my eyes, it is bad manner to do so. Why should someone be punished for my mistakes or why should I be punished for their mistakes?

You win a game not only with better skills in theory but also by solid execution of your game plan in practice. Misclicks are unfortunate, a consequence of unthoughtfulness and maybe you get upset but they are no reason for whining. OK, you can whine about MF's bad Online Dominion User Interface but that's not your opponent's fault. ;)

I do hope they fix up the tablet version to be relatively bug free and provide offline play for bots at some point.

MF CEO quote from BGG (link)

Quote
The architecture was designed with a focus on online play, not offline or pass-n-play. Personally, I'd love offline play. It may happen at some point. But it doesn't make sense right now for the business. [...] So, offline won't happen any time soon. You know what? It is OK to play Ascension when you don't have internet, ...

Bad news for you and many others. :(

Ruins aren't colorized in the log. A shiny brown e.g. #a05000 can do it.

Thanks. I'll probably pick something a bit darker and reserve this one for the Reserves, which are going to have to be brown as well.

Yes, a darker brown is fine but that one for Reserves must be brighter and look like carton or old paper. My suggestions could probably look different as text on black background. You'll make the right choice, I'm sure.  ;)

I've done some data analysis on the missing VP counter and avatars problem.

You can't force anyone to #vpon. The bot randomly changed their settings to prefer off;)

Unfortunately, a game with this much card logic needs to rely on a server connection.

That's so stupid! ::)

How is that even supposed to work? Their servers have so much more processing power than the user's devices that they can handle this complicated logic for hundreds of games at once?

Don't worry. You get connected with Titan and its 17,6 PetaFLOPS. Luckily the Heliumcooling system prevents the core from overheating.

Poor UI design. I didn't expect anything better for the mobile application as we still know it.

Does MF even go to BGG?

Jonah42 mentioned BGG in one of his posts in the MF forums. So, maybe.

it's frustrating how they feed us this nonsense that anyone with experience in game development can tell you is a lie instead of just telling us like it is.

Sadly, it's a common phrase for online requirements since some years.
A popular example is EA's SimSity2013. They said, the servers would have to compute all the individual sims one by one what no PC could handle. Investigations by some hackers (I guess) showed that all of this was a lie, the servers did nearly nothing and the sims took always the shortest way from work to the next house. They never came back home after their first day at work LoL!
