Hi Everybody.

I don't know if this is the good place, but , as I needed to do new mats for tavern (on paper) I prepared this with great paintings, using those with color tones interesting for the six ones we need. Here they are, if you want to use them...
















Three are from Teniers, three from Bruegel

A fan extension already exists with this system (the negative VP are Sins !!) : see Salvation, from W. Baggins  (http://www.geekdo.com/image/804956/salvation-fan-expansion-for-dominion). I began to try this some month ago, and I like it, even if, of course, I can change details !!! and I am far from testing all (not enough time....). But I really find it fine...

I see. Stupidly I imagined that "to choose" ment "choose a known card". They just choose aleatory. But you're right, that's indispensable. Thanks for those explanations.

I think I'd like very much Vampire... but I must be a bit silly : I don't understand the last period 'each other player chooses one of theese cards'... Why 'these' ? They see only ONE card , no ? Sorry for this ! :)

Just a proposition for Outsource, to make it more clear :  suppress "You may" and the two "if you do". Because if you do not...you don't use the card !

Great Idea, these Activation cards !
Of course I couldn't resist to test them ... (because of a benign accident, I'm immobilized at home with Dominion [poor of me !!!])

So I had a mock play really fun. Allow me to write some comments, questions and propositions :

- Hidden Passage and Boomtown work preaty well. We agree that the 2nd action can be the Activation ? (I think I read something like that...). They renew very well the "classics"
- I didn't have "time" to test really Balcony. Perhaps less "evident" to use it; I have to study!
- Patron goes well, too. I had an interesting interaction with a Reaction card (the Attack was Torturer, but could be Militia of course). The player had both Patron in play and Secret Chamber in hand. Well , do you thik there might be an order to do the effects ?

2 ideas now :
1. One could imagine an "Action-Activation-Attack card" (the famous AAA ! ;D), where the Activation would be to discard the Activation cards of other players that are not yet activated ! Swingy, isn't it ? (and very badly worded... :-[)
2. Couldn't we imagine a penalty for players that have inactivated cards in ply when the game ends ? For example -1VP for each of these cards. It could add problems of strategy in endgames.

I come back on this "old" topic. The fact is that i'm interested by lots of propositions of fan card, and that I try regularly the ones I like the more.
So I read (between others) the discussion on Platoons. I thought, me too, that 6$ was too much for "5 identical cards"; and that three only (last proposition) was too "cool".So I tried things and now I've a card that keeps the idea, like that :

Forest. Action Victory.  Cost 5$.
+ 1 Buy.
Worth 1VP for each set of identical : 5 Victory, 5 Treasures or 4 Actions ;
I tried it several timezs and had fun with it. It's rather balanced, and one must be careful to make it efficient.

(But perhaps I'm wrong : I am rather new in Dominion Strategy...)

Seems nice, but $3 seems too cheap, look : you play this action, so you have 4 cards, draw a card, and you have got a "Village+$1" for the same coast ! I like the mini-reaction to Milicia and so on . However,is $4 too much for this ?...

I'm new on this site, and rather new in Dominion knowlegde (a few weeks), and, worse, I am french !! :)    (with a non-really-fluent-english...).  I try to learn about Dominion, on that site and some others. My question for today is this one : I don't understand the logic of the cost of certain cards that trash. Look these examples : Trading Post, trash 2 cards and receive a Silver , costs 5$ (not very exciting, except for coppers and curses of course?) / Develop , trash one card, receive 2, costs "nothing" (3$) [perhaps the lower cards becomes "heavy " in the deck??] / remodel : gain a card +2, costs 4$  :  and, surprise, the forge at 7 $ for equality trash/gain (I understand that we can trash 3 poor cards to gain a Province, but it seems odd to the beginner I am).
