I'm a photoshop novice, and it seems like a pain to mess with all the coin symbols, fonts, and stuff when I'm doing it. Besides, I don't care as much about the look of the card. For someone who's better at photoshop (and cares more), go ahead and add them.

About the art I chose: Wherever I could make it work with the card name, I chose photos taken by my dad on his travels for card art. And the photograph for the Trailblazer card was taken by someone else I know.
If people prefer other art, that's fine, I'm just happy to have people print & play with my cards.

1152
Um, that's the same except a different picture. Why would you do that?

I thought Cloister and Sentinel were great as-is. (The only other ones you mentioned that I've played with are already on your great cards list.)

Thanks guys. It's not like he threatened to cut my throat or anything, just standard personal insults. I take it from the majority of your replies that i don't have to wait for instant-ban-worthy messages before i report something, though, so that's what i'll do.

You mean, like, "Yo momma so fat when she sits around the Counting House, she really sits AROUND the Counting House"?
To momma so fat the Goons would get 50 victory tokens just for buying her, yet she's so cheap the bishop wouldn't get anything for trashing her.

1157
Thanks, but I already made an improved version of Ancient Temple, and I dropped the bottom-deck mechanic from the card. The card text below the image is different from what it says on the image. I just haven't gotten around to updating the image yet. I'll try to do it in the next few days.

EDIT: Now, I finally have the OP up to date with images and all cards that are currently in the set.

Juicy Burgers
Brackets

Bernie Sanders
Dominion

Godel’s Incompleteness Theorems
Chairs
I don't understand why people are voting for chairs, but I guess we do need something to sit on.

Lego Bricks
Rosemary

Side 2

Steven Colbert
Zephyr

Dinosaurs
Donkey Kong

Beating Rebuild
Nutella

Donald X.
Pulsars
The problem is that Donald X is too obvious, but then so is Dominion.

All this voting is ruining my post-respect ratio...

The trick is to vote for Library so that you get an upvote from LibraryAdventurer.
Almost +1 for noticing my trend.

(That being said, I think I actually like Ranger better.)
but no actual +1 because you didn't actually vote for library...

If you like playing Dominion IRL like I do, and you want your cards to last, putting sleeves on them is definitely worth it.
I print fan cards (usually a text only version) on regular paper and put them in sleeves in front of blanks or cards I don't use often (like Tournament).

1. Apothecary
16. Duke

8. Trade Route
9. Island

5. Baron
12. Warehouse
ugh, Scout is just terrible  (I was about to say "Scout is terrible here" but really it's terrible everywhere).

4. Tournament
13. Storeroom
Scout is so bad that it makes me vote for a card I hate.
The only reason you'd want Storeroon in your deck with Scout is to discard Scout to get something better in hand.

6. Explorer
11. Lost Arts

3. Harem
14. Cellar

7. Herald
10. Fairgrounds

2. Great Hall
15. Upgrade

1. Mystic
16. Gardens

8. Distant Lands
9. Silk Road

5. Prince
12. Training
huh? Both of these are far better with pretty much any spammable card. (was about to say any other spammable card, but Scout isn't spammable)

4. Crossroads
13. Vault

6. Wishing Well
11. Pathfinding

3. Inheritance
14. Vagrant

7. Conspirator
10. Tunnel

2. Nobles
15. Farmland
As someone else said, Nobles is in too many brackets, but then it actually does something decent with scout, unlike Farmland. (unless you buy farmland to turn your scout into something better.)

Variants and Fan Cards / Re: Technology Cards
« on: April 10, 2016, 12:19:57 am »
I get the theme, but I just want to say this...the idea of a battery-powered steam engine...

I would also like to address this:
Here's a way to include gainers like workshop:

Quote
Battery
$3 cost - Treasure - Reaction
+1 Buy
Worth $1
-
When you play an action that tells you to gain a card, you may play this from your hand.

I would reword the reaction part:
When you would gain a card, you may first play this card from your hand.
That limits certain possible edge cases (like Farmlands, which has you gain a card but is not an action, or transmogrify, which us "called" and not "played"), and, to me at least, is a simpler wording.
The problem is that you wouldn't gain a card until you've decided what to gain and by then it's too late to change what you gain to a technology card.

I like posting results:  (The half votes are mine)
1 Library   +7.5   /    14 Smithy   5

2 Haunted Woods  5.5   /   13 Torturer    +7

3 Journeyman  4.5   /   12 Margrave  +8

4 Wharf  +12.5   /   11 Embassy   X
Embassy never stood a chance.

5 Envoy  5.5   /   10 Catacombs  +7

6 Council Room  +6.5   /   9 Nobles  6
I had to break a tie here, but even for me, it's a close one.

7 Rabble  4.5   /   8 Hunting Grounds  +8

Watchtower   1
Courtyard    2
Gear   2.5
Vault   3
Ranger   4
--------------------------------

Next round:

Juicy Burgers
tough choice here

Brackets
Scout
Brackets are already starting to get old.

Bernie Sanders
Sword
Any sword in particular?  I guess it doesn't matter since I'm not going to vote for a politician on here.

Dominion
Accidentally buying a Farmland when you thought it was Fairgrounds
I was sure Dominion was the word that got vetoed because it was sure to win.

Godel’s Incompleteness Theorems
Chuck Norris
Never heard of Godel or his theorems (not that I remember at least), and I'm not the type to look it up just to see if I want to vote for it.

Chairs
The End of Making Fun’s Dominion Online
Why would anyone submit 'chairs'?  And who isn't looking forward to a better Dominion online?

Bacon
Lego Bricks
Bacon is overrated and legos are awesome.

Rosemary
Mbaqanga
Um, one is a spice, the other I have no idea. <shrug> I guess I go with the spice.

Side 2

Steven Colbert
Slytherin
One of the bravest men I ever knew was a Slytherin, but Steven Colbert is still more awesome.

Zephyr
Heroes of Might and Magic III
I've heard the word 'zephyr' but don't know what it means, and I've never played Might and Magic. So I guess I'll flip a coin.  Zephyr is heads.  And it is...   tails.

Hexachordal Combinatoriality
Dinosaurs
Hexachordal whatever sounds like something to do with music, so that cool, but dinosaurs are pretty neat too, and I'm not even sure that Combinobitz reallly is something about music. Dinosaurs it is.

Syzygy
Donkey Kong
Never heard of Syzygy. It sounds cool, but I know I like Donkey Kong. Besides, he's hairy like me.

Beating Rebuild
Moat

Nutella
---> 8)
voting for a smiley seems weird, but I don't like hazelnut flavor.

Donald X.
Chapel
Donald X was my other guess at the word that got vetoed because it would probably win, but I keep getting chapel in the same hand as my other opening buy.

8. Fairgrounds
6. Distant Lands

4. Vineyard
2. Monument
How did Monument get to the second round?

1169
My top favorite is out now too (plaza).

Time to start a new poll voting for your favorite card rather than the best card!
As I mentioned before, 'best' to me means 'best designed' which is not far different from my opinion of 'most fun'.
If you want what you're meaning as best, you should say strongest.

Yay another bracket!
+3 or more cards and the strongest of the +2 cards and draw-to-X ones.
(strong +2 cards for handsize, not strong +2 cards in general (so no cultist))
Seeds are (roughly) my preference. Go Library!

1 Library
14 Smithy

2 Haunted Woods
13 Torturer

3 Journeyman
12 Margrave

4 Wharf
11 Embassy

5 Envoy
10 Catacombs

6 Council Room
9 Nobles

7 Rabble
8 Hunting Grounds

Had to fudge the system a little so vote for 1 of these: (15/16)
Watchtower
Courtyard
Gear
Vault
Ranger

The 15/16 bracket is Courtyard plus the ones that draw less than 3 (or draw up to 6 instead of 7).
