« on: May 22, 2015, 11:40:44 am »
I sent an email from Belgium to klantenservice@999games.nl to ask if they could sent me the 11 cards with the new correct translations in Dutch.
3 days later i got them in my postbox.
Great Service!

Dominion General Discussion / Re: Worst. Setup. Ever.
« on: April 18, 2015, 09:36:07 pm »
Trying to come up with the kingdom that would involve the most painful setup possible:

Young Witch, Black Market, Hermit, Urchin, Marauder, Familiar, Island, Native Village, Trade Route, Baker, Fairgrounds.
(Tournament, Pirate Ship, Goons, Monument, Bishop in Black Market deck.  Colony and Platinum in use.  Shelters in use.)

This would necessitate the use of:
- Room on the table for 28 f-in piles.  11 action cards, 4 Victory Cards (Estate/Duchy/Province/Colony), 5 treasures (Copper/Silver/Gold/Plat/Potion), Curses, Spoils pile, Ruins Pile, Mercenary Pile, Madman Pile, Prize Pile, Black Market Deck, trash.
- Four types of tokens (VP, Coin, Trade Route, Pirate Ship)
- Four types of mats (Island, Native Village, Trade Route, Pirate Ship)

Also include all duration cards in the BM deck just to clog up the table more during gameplay :)

The Fairgrounds is mostly to be nice, since you might be looking at 12 points apiece for them in this kingdom!

How many piles can be made with the release of Adventures next week :-) ?

Puzzles and Challenges / Re: Easy Puzzles

About the question how much space is needed for maximum setup:

Maximum setup includes:
10 kingdom cards, one of which is Black Market
1 bane card
copper, silver, gold, estate, duchy, province
colony, platin, potion
curses, ruins
spoils, mercanary, madman, prices
black market pile
trash pile

Pirate ship, island, native village mats (6 each)
6 vp mats and trade route mat

This comes to a total of 28 piles, 25 play mats (with 7 of them actually being quadratic) and 6 play areas.

I'm pretty sure i didn't forget anything.

What are the new maximums after the release of Adventures :-) ?

9 or 18 is also a possibility.
I still need the same time only less place, tables, boxes,...  :)

Awaclus, true but then i need more space, tables, boxes, ...😒
I tested the format several times and the only problem is the time per game.
So i am only looking to solve this item.

Tournaments and Events / Re: 3-Player Tournament?
« on: May 07, 2014, 01:56:23 pm »
This is an "off-line" tournament so i can 't compare with online times.
Reducing to five rounds minimum is possible.
I think "tweaking" is still beter than time-end rules.
I have tested several 2player (offline) games with proposed rules: all ended around 20 to 30 minutes. And they still were fun to play 😊.
Planning to test some 3play games and then test a mini tournament with 9 players.

Hi,

Last year (2013) I had contact with 999games for organizing a VK (Vlaams Kampioenschap cfr Flemish Championship)) around Oct/Nov 2014.
Because of a personal "too busy agenda" (rebuilding my house) plans are postponed to 2015.
I have worked out the format completely for a one-day-tournament (27 players; 3p/table; 7rounds).
The only problem is time! I don't use a time-end-rule.
Therefore I want to shorten up the games with a tournament-house-rule to maximise games to 45 minutes.
My suggestions for 3 players are: 1) victory piles have 9 cards (instead of 12) or 2) action piles have 8 cards (instead of 10) or 3) both 1+2

Any suggestions, comments?

« on: November 05, 2013, 08:04:01 am »
Hello, i'm planning to organize a local tournament (9,18 or 27 players). Therefore i am looking for a Dutch cardlist out of which i can copy the cards to visualise the decks we are playing on a screen.
