1) What happens if I play BoM or Overlord as encampment?
2) What happens if I play Procession on encampment?
2) If you didn't reveal a Gold or Plunder either of the 2 times you played it, then it will get set aside and thus fail to trash due to lose-track. You'll still get an action card costingmore, because that's not dependent upon trashing.

I play mostly with my local board game group, who have varying levels of income and interest in Dominion. It's highly unlikely all of them will be getting the monthly subscription, so if I can't play with the people I like to play with, there's really no reason for me to play either.
I obviously cannot and do not speak for ShuffleIT, but it would be highly surprising to me if they had a setup where base-only players could only play with other base-only players.
If it was just 3$ a month to have access to all the sets and I could play them with anyone I wanted (including non-subscribers) that would be a pretty reasonable deal, if Dominion continues to come out with expansions once a year (since I'd be paying around $36 for each new expansion anyway if I got the paper version). I was assuming that to get access to the game at all you'd have to be a subscriber, but you're right that that might not be correct.

If it helps me pick up multiple cards needed and I have a way to remove it later, I would definitely get one. I don't think it's worth getting multiples in most cases.

It's not even the separation by cost that I think is the problem; it's the fact that it's impossible (in my opinion) to separate (for example) Mountebank, Cultist, and Rebuild. They're all power level 100. Others would likely disagree, and they'd end up in a ranking, but I wouldn't have to find some way of ranking them relative to each other.

I would keep it simple and use the Debt cost as an analog to Coin cost.
I also would treat Potion cost as ~$3 because of the special card needed to buy. (Eg. Familiar ranked with $6 cost cards)
Landmarks will be their own thing, because they are. That's a strategy discussion more than a power discussion.
