It shouldn't be a problem. Donate takes place after your turn, so if the Possessor has the Possessed player buy Donate, the Possessed player gets to decide what to trash.
I guess I forgot to mention this earlier, but split piles need to be ranked together. Simply because, you will never see one without the other, and that affects the strength of the card immensely. Rocks is objectively bad without Catapult. It would be at the bottom of any $4 list, yet you'll probably gain it more often than Scout since you basically have to have a Catapult if you're buying Rocks. Emporium is a cute Peddler variant, with the opportunity cost of having had to gain like five Patricians, and that also needs to be a factor. The synergy is fundamental to how these cards work. They will never be in a vacuum so it doesn't make sense to treat them as such.I still think split piles can be ranked separately. The ranking of rocks should be understood with the context that catapults are available.

Engineer: The on play effect seems fine, I'll probably trash it after a few plays. The 4 debt cost is what intrigues me. It's so small it seems like it is essentially a 4 costing card. My guess is the debt cost is so it can't gain itself. Don't know why that would be too good though. I do appreciate having a wider variety of debt costs. The art seems decent, especially for a first time artist. Interesting that it features a woman, don't know what to think about that. There do need to be more cards with women but I would have put a dude on engineer.

Not very many means there were some, so it's still accurate?? And the lack thereof might be exaggerated because history books tend to focus on the men and ignore the women.
Exactly. The card is not busted. Edge cases aside, the event is balanced equally between all players. Everyone has equal access to the event and, with it costing debt, each player can buy the event at any time without worrying about opening splits.Donate? Is there something I am not aware of?

Donate is not overpowered. All players have access to it. I for one love the event. So what if it's a must open? It's fun to play Dominion Engine on steroids sometimes. If it's fun and OP, I don't mind. The real crime is if the event is not fun at all.

My expectation is early next week. I think the rules will be released as close as possible to the actual date that the set becomes available to the public. Otherwise it will just be us complaining about card art and wording until someone actually gets their hands on the game and can offer their impressions.Is today The Day When We See The Rules?
Since the most recent estimates from Jay are that they won't be in stores until the end of next week (and optimistically we can guess maybe slightly earlier some places based on his guessed ship dates), I don't think it is likely they will be posted until at least this weekend. Even that might just be wishful thinking. I would not be surprised if it wasn't until the first boxes start showing up next week.

Seconded. Sleeving all of the cards does not take that long. Throw on a movie or a couple episodes of a show and you are golden.I do not have card sleeves (READ: too lazy to put them on)...
Sleeving your cards probably won't be as bad as you think . I started playing a little after Guilds was released and I had all of the expansions before I sleeved anything. I thought it was going to be this agonizing, day-long project, but it really wasn't. Just make sure you have the space and organization so that when you start sleeving you can get in a rhythm. Minimizing stops and starts is key.

I bought from Cardhaus last year but I was disappointed that they shipped several days after Amazon had Adventures listed on Prime. It just didn't seem worth it.
So I've been waiting for it to show up on Amazon, but I keep searching for it and nothing comes up. So I'll have to wait a day or two more I think.
Or I could go to a FLGS, but psh, who has those???
