Using only 2 Kingdom cards, I can improve that to 40:

Open Chancellor/Tournament.
Turn 3: Draw Tournament, Chancellor and 3 Coppers. Play Tournament, drawing Copper. Play Chancellor (discarding deck) and 4 Coppers. Buy Gold.
Turn 4: Draw Tournament, Chancellor, Gold and 2 Coppers. Play Tournament, drawing Copper. Play Chancellor (discarding deck) and 4 Coppers. Buy Province.
Turn 5: Draw Tournament, Province, Gold and 2 Coppers. Play Tournament, gaining and drawing Trusty Steed. Play Trusty Steed, drawing 2 Coppers, gaining 4 Silvers and discarding deck. Play Gold and 4 Coppers. Buy Province.
Turn 6: Draw Tournament, Province, Trusty Steed, Chancellor and Gold. Play Tournament, gaining and drawing Princess. Play Trusty Steed for +2 Card and +2 Actions, drawing 2 Silvers. Play Princess, Chancellor (discarding deck), Gold and 2 Silvers. Buy Colony and Estate.

theory, we need a new front page challenge, gain two Colonies in 4 turns. See if anyone can work out to replicate that. I'm mostly amazed that you managed to use every single kingdom card as well.

I could have got an 11th card in the Kingdom, but it turned out I didn't need it. The only reason I needed to gain every card in the Kingdom (and one from the Black Market deck) was to get up to 11 different cards in play for the Horn of Plenty to gain Colony.

And ended up with Fairgrounds almost worth 6 VPs in 4 turns (you could have course have gained a Fairgrounds/Province instead of a Colony, if you did want 6 VP Fairgrounds for some reason)

I only have 12 different cards in the deck after Turn 4, since I trashed my only Nomad Camp and Horn of Plenty to get Border Village and Colony.

Suboptimal solution, you have 1 copper left over.



If you look carefully at Turn 4 I also have one spare coin as well. Unfortunately, my solution has no +Buy on Turn 4, so even if I could somehow draw the last Copper, I couldn't buy a Tunnel or something anyway.

Another 21, but this time gaining two Colonies:

Kingdom: Crossroads, Hamlet, Black Market, Watchtower, Nomad Camp, Remake, Governor, Horn of Plenty, Border Village and Bank. Black Market deck contains Develop.

Turn 1: Draw 4 Coppers and Estate. Play 4 Coppers and buy Nomad Camp, putting it on top of deck.
Turn 2: Draw Nomad Camp, 3 Coppers and Estate. Play Nomad Camp and 3 Coppers, and buy Watchtower and Hamlet.
Turn 3: Draw Estate, (reshuffle), Copper, Hamlet, Nomad Camp and Watchtower. Play Hamlet, drawing Copper and discarding Estate and Copper for +1 Action and +1 Buy. Play Nomad Camp then Watchtower, drawing 5 Coppers. Play 6 Copper, buying Crossroads and Border Village, gaining Governor.

Looking at ways to improve Kelume's solution, I haven't been able to beat 19, but I have been able to buy both Colony and Province on Turn 4:

Turn 1: Draw 4 Coppers and Estate. Play 4 Coppers and buy Nomad Camp, putting it on top of deck.
Turn 2: Draw Nomad Camp, 3 Coppers and Estate. Play Nomad Camp and 3 Coppers, and buy Watchtower and Hamlet.
Turn 3: Draw Estate, (reshuffle), Copper, Hamlet, Nomad Camp and Watchtower. Play Hamlet, drawing Copper and discarding Estate and Copper for +1 Action and +1 Buy. Play Nomad Camp then Watchtower, drawing 5 Coppers. Play 6 Copper, buying Crossroads, Copper and Border Village, gaining Develop.
Turn 4: Draw Estate, Estate, (reshuffle), Crossroads, Hamlet and Watchtower. Play Crossroads, drawing Develop and Border Village. Turn 4: Draw Crossroads, 3 Estates and Copper. Play Crossroads, drawing 2 Coppers (reshuffle) and Embassy. Play Embassy, drawing Salvager, Border Village, Haggler and 2 Coppers and discarding 3 Estates. Play Salvager, trashing Border Village. Play Haggler and 5 Coppers. Buy Colony, gaining Border Village, gaining Duchy; and Estate, gaining Copper.


I suspect going above 15 is impossible without Hinterlands cards, and I can't really see any room for improving my solution with all the current cards.
