I copied and pasted the card templates from a forum on BGG entitled "Fan Made card: Apprentice", from July, 2009, into Microsoft Power Point, where I made my cards.  On MPP you can enter text and then select no line, no color for background, and it works great. I would post an example, but I don't know how to copy/paste on this forum.  Help any one?

New user, great card ideas!
I had a few of my own:
Settlement
Cost: $4  Action
+1 Action   +$1
You may trash this card.  If you do, +1 Buy  and gain a City, putting it on top of your deck.

Setup: The first time Settlement is gained, place the "City" kingdom pile in the game if it is not already.

Ticket to Ride Further
$4  Action
+1 Action
Draw the top 2 cards of your deck.  If they are the same type and the same type as a card already in your hand,
discard all 3 and gain 4 Victory points.  Otherwise, choose one of the drawn cards to keep, and discard the other.
