I am very satisfied with the cards removed.
- Lookout is not removed. This was my favorite card from this expansion.
- Ghost Ship was very unbalanced. I suspected that this card would go away.
- Ambassador was slowing down the game. the creator had already said so. He didn't like this card.
- I think we will have better cards instead of the other removed cards.

I hope there will be a French translation again. The latest translated expansion is Adventure... :(

Can we play with the cards removed from the second edition of Seaside on Dominion Online? Maybe with a check parameter to add them?

Lookout is my favorite card from this expansion (and maybe more again). I'm really sad for her...  :(

Hoping Lookout survives somehow; it's still one of my favorite Seaside cards.

It's also my favorite card... :'(
Please don't delete it!

Maybe remove:
- Navigator
- Explorer
- Embargo (obligatorily removed: it will save material in the box).
- Pearl Diver
- pirate ship
- Gost ship (too powerful?)

I don't want to lose any more cards. Not Lookout!

The first player have a 59% chance of winning the game (maybe by one more turn).
At the end of the game, some player finish the turn (variant) instead of the real rule. But I don't think it's a good idea ...

1) What do you think of the first player advantage?
2) What are the positive points of this imbalance ? Why is it better to end the game immediately with the first player rather than end the second player's turn? (better gameplay ?)
3) Ten years after the creation of the game, do players prefer the variant? Or are the players happy with the real rule?

Is it possible to create a good, fair and balanced card with the goal of being a card which helps whoever is losing the game?

With my little extension "Laws", there is this card:

She is really nice in my games. This forces the first player to have a lot more points OR buy estate. The mechanism is fun and balanced.

Found Vampire at the Black Market. So nice when you can't Exchange it!

The bat is always available (not part of the reserve). You found the vampire alone with the black market, but you can and you should exchange it with the bat.

When will the next expansion be released? End of 2020? 2021?

I would love to have more cards! I have my little extension with 12 landscape cards (the Laws, but it is only playable IRL... My dream would be to program them on Dominion Online (maybe in tab fan made?)! Or that you will release a concept similar to Laws cards.
Your game is very addictive and fun! (Sorry for my bad english)

Research / Fortress

Of course Fortress is good with any TFB, but this interaction makes Research shines.

I played a game where I bought 3 Researches and 3 Fortress and I was starting every turn with 9 or 13 cards in hand. This made me win against a player so much better than me.

This week I played 3 "Research" + a lot of "Rats".
It was very strong.

Setup: Use Colony and Platinum. The ten kingdom cards in this game are: Hermit, Exorcist, Urchin, Transmute, Marauder, Trader, Mandarin, Black Market, and Prince.

Why not :

the “trash this” fails because Embargo expects itself to be in play but it isn’t.

So new "Band of Misfits" will not be able to trash "Embargo" in supplie. And the new Overlord will not be able to trash "Pillage" in supplie. OK !  :)

I have a question for new Inheritance with new Embargo.

Inheritance : Once per game: Set aside a non-Command Action card from the Supply costing up to $4. Move your Estate token to it. (During your turns, Estates are also Actions with "Play the card with your Estate token, leaving it there.")

Embargo :+$2, Trash this. If you did, add an Embargo token to a Supply pile. (For the rest of the game, when a player buys a card from that pile, they gain a Curse.).

1) I play an Estate
2) I trash the embargo set aside.
3) But he stay aside.
4) So can I use the Embargo token ?

Firstly I don't like the idea of split cards for this challenge.

The split pile was a good idea. Maybe 5 Mouses and 5 Cats ?

Maybe :
Cat : +1 Action, +1 carte. You may trash a Mouse in your hand for draw 2 cards.
Mousse : +2 Action. Réveal the top card of you deck. If it Costs 0 trash it. Otherwise discard it. Gain a Mouse or Cat if avaible.

- Several Victory cards and / or interaction with victory cards.
- Minimum 3 bad cards that could win! A kingdom that values several bad cards (stash, Transmute, Harvest, Bureaucrat, loan ... etc).

Philosopher's Stone
Royal Seal

I prefer to play with all the cards. Otherwise there would be a lot of cards to ban.
Stach: there is always better
Bureaucrat: same
Rebuild: good, but boring, boring, boring ...
Scrying Pool: good but wastes real time.
Possession: °_°

(It's true that I have never used Transmute in eight years...)

For future printings, would you consider unifying the Tavern Mat, Exile Mat, and Island Mat?

in another post, I suggested a play mat like this :
We could simply modify it (so that it works with all combinations). An area for:
- Deck / discard
- Play area
- Coffers
- Villagers
- Debts
- Victory points
- Only one or two area for all Side cards (durations + exile + tavern + islands + native village + Miser + States + Artifacts + other cards)

Maybe as a promo (to pay) on BoardGameGeek?  ;D
