Hi,
this season, we're going to use your submitted kingdoms for the league final once again. We'd like to use your randomly generated kingdoms that you enjoyed or think that they are pretty interesting (please none you designed yourself).
Things have gotten easier that way - you can just submit your game ID of the new client (of course, the old way works still!).
We need your submissions until May 22th. Please send them to LeagueKingdoms via PM.

For this season's Champion Match, we ask you to submit the most interesting boards you've encountered. Please send them via pm to this account until Friday, September 23rd
The six boards we find the most interesting will be played to determine our new League Champion.
Rules for Submission, as in the past:
-Submit sets by sending a private message to the LeagueKingdoms account.
-Sets should be randomly generated sets that you've played and thought were interesting. DO NOT send in a set that has been posted and/or discussed on the Forum. You can send in a set that was played in a League game as long as it wasn't posted on the Forum or being streamed live.

Dominion League / [Feedback] How do you like the Kingdom selection process for the Champion match?

After getting some complaints a few seasons ago about the lack of diversity in the Championship which we tried avoid the last two Championships, we had complaints from some of the players about having pre-selected Kingdoms at all this time. The main complaint being that these games usually take longer than average since usually more cards are viable on each of the boards. They were advocating the full random selection process instead.
This is why we'd like to hear your feedback (from in and out of the League) on the whole issue:

- Do you consider the ability to submit boards for the Championship Match a good addition to the League experience?
- Does having presubmitted Kingdoms affect your viewing experience of the match?
- Does the possibility of having your own fun Kingdoms played by the Championship contestants affect your viewing experience?
- How do you feel about the classic "all-Random"for the matches?
- How could we alter our selection process to find a compromise between the two positions?
Feel free to answer partially if not all the questions are important to you.

After last season's Kingdom Design Challenge, we'll bring it back to the "usual" this season with random-but-interesting kingdoms. Please submit your favorites via PM to this account, LeagueKingdoms, by the end of the season (deadline: September 25) and our favorites will be used for the Season 10 Champion Match!

Most everything else will remain the same, you should still submit your kingdoms via PM to this account (LeagueKingdoms), the deadline for submission will be Friday, 7th August . As always, make sure that nobody in Division A is part of your design process so we can keep the Champion Match as fair as possible.
Criteria for selection will be the same as usual, league moderators and commentators for the Champion Match will select the kingdoms that seem the most interesting.

We have an announcement to make: for the Season 7 Champion Match (not the one that's coming up, but for next season) we'll be accepting designed kingdoms for submissions. You may submit any kingdom you like now, but designed kingdoms will be allowed and encouraged.

As always, make sure that nobody in Division A is part of your design process so we can keep the Champion Match as fair as possible.

« on: December 08, 2014, 10:34:34 am »Luckily it is not important for this season, but tie-breaking rules for Champion-Challenger match should be clarified. More specifically, do those games count for the second tie-breaker? Do they count the same as the games from the regular season match?
The championship match doesn't count for the second tie-breaker.
Also, submissions for the Season Five championship match are now open!

Each season we'll have a Champion Match between the #1 and #2 of A League. This will be a 6-game match using kingdoms submitted by members of the forum. The player's scores from this match will be added to their total scores to determine the final outcome of the season.
