I was worried about the megaturns and then realized how I could "short-circuit" his strat. Expand may be my new favorite card.

Game Reports / Duchy buy saves me, but how could I have played it better?

I felt like I was scrambling this whole and had some fairly unlucky draws. A Duchy saves me (although an estate passed to me by Masq. wouldve been the margin of victory as well).

Dominion General Discussion / To veto or not to veto

Seems like no veto is the "purest" way to play in that it forces people to just deal with the kingdom as dealt..Thoughts?

Help! / I dont get why I keep losing to this stuff

I feel like Im trying to think though my buys, not bloat my deck with a bunch of stuff and then I lose to stuff like this where the guy just spams me to death with peddler and grand market. Really starting to get down on myself and this game.  Any advice welcome.

I won but it took 24 turns and I feel like I couldve played more efficiently. I go with the IGG over the Witch but then sort of abandoned it since I felt I was just fueling the bishops. Still with a relative dearth of +ACtion on the board, maybe that wasnt such a big deal. I try to transition to Nobles to use with smithy..I dunno, just felt really clunky. The game still isnt quite clicking for me. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

This was a fun one. As evidence of my noobness, I didnt even think at first to use a Gardens strategy but then after a little more thought, I realized it would go well with Baron. I do wish I wouldve bought more secret chambers because I think that wouldve helped me 3 pile a little quicker.

Other than the obviously dumb (ending the game when I was behind, that will teach my not to keep better track of VPs) what could I have done to better manage my game here? How much was just luck of the draw?

Help! / My first Chapel game

Mostly interested in my use of Chapel in this game; good,bad, or other. Any other insight of course is both welcomed and appreciated, but I think Im going to be posting a lot in this forum so I dont want to be too annoying.

A few random thoughts: I really dont have good reason as to why I went with Envoy; I thought I read somewhere that it comboed well with Chapel and thats about as far as I got. I was really unsure if I should buy some +action or something but I knew that the point of Chapel was to keep your deck lean so I just tried to adhere to that as much as possible. Ok, fire at will.

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while and mostly restricting myself to playing the game with my kids (base set only at that). Ive gotten back into the game after a hiatus due to military deployment and decided to see what isotropic was all about. I think I played decently in this game but I'm sure there are things I couldve done better.
