« on: June 05, 2012, 11:23:33 pm »If I may ask, why did you buy 2 coppers on your last turn? Admittedly, they would never come around to bite you, but I am curious if you see a benefit to buying them.
Bought them by accident after clicking coppers for the haggler?

Either I had barely too few buys or barely too little cash, but every time I was kicking myself for not balancing buys or trashes properly on the previous turns (probably because I needed sleep). I knew it would only take one more good try... and then it was 4.
I thought that 12 turns would win as well, but with my strategy it seemed impossible to get all of the golds in 12 turns. I became convinced I needed to use another card to do it but I couldn't figure anything out.
As for my strategy, I ended up not using any warehouses because I liked the idea discarding the tunnels only so that my discard contained only the minumum number of non tunnel cards. This way I could apprentice and hopefully draw the tunnels again to discard them more than once in the same turn.

Solo Challenges / Re: My third solo challenge: Double Tactician
« on: May 29, 2012, 12:16:57 pm »Was a pretty fun challenge but shuffle luck was very annoying especially with my strat.
I was trying university as well, however I never thought to add in the throne room. Using chapel and university there was a chance to tie you with a turn 8 result, but I didn't have the patience for trying to get the right shuffles.
