Help! / Dominion Online Adventure

So I'm not sure how to do this anymore. I am pretty new, and this is the Base Campaign 1-12 (I think).
I have tried opening a few different ways, so I think I am making the wrong plays somewhere in the middle. Basically I try to get a festival engine running, I'm guessing this is too slow because the curses are cluttering the deck up. I try to get rid of the curses with remodel, but that seems like its failing. I have been consistently losing on this level, and the bots aren't even cheating. What am I doing wrong?

So how should I identify this type of game in the future? It seems like any game with a witch and very little trashing options will end up being a faster game, so I should buy VP earlier maybe?
