Chapel bracket Serishmus (33) defeats okt (32) 4-2

Technically okt resigned here, after I built up a big lead.

I tried to go for a lot of bishop points, but didn't get big money nearly fast enough and never caught up. I got closer than I would have thought.

Reviewing this game, I could have won with a Province buy on my last turn, but I thought that would lose me the game because of a tied score. Whoops. I pretty much went farming village + monument, while okt spammed the Harems. As you can see we were almost dead even.

I went for Big Money plus help, while okt tried the always interesting NV + treasure map gambit. I'm really not sure why I bought a Gold on my last turn. Extremely close outcome.

I used Islands to sock away some stuff (I love that card) and happened to get both Mountebank and Wharf out of the Black Market. That was pretty much the game.

The clincher. We did veto mode on okt's suggestion (probably because of the BM in game 5). I don't normally buy tribute, but with both of us pushing treasures hard I figured it would be worth $4 more often than not. I barely squeaked it out.
