Hello, if anybody reads this, when is dominion going to be available for iOS devices? We were told by Kate Connally, the new CEO of Goko, that in early September it would be available in the App Store. It's been over a month later and still no dominion Goko app. Now I could be overlooking it in the App Store, but I also haven't heard anything either. So, if anybody knows anything, please let me know.
Thanks, Microman

I'll put a dollar on "never."

One of the problems with Goko is that they set release dates, and then never actually release their products anywhere near this date. My guess would be Christmastime, if you're lucky, for release date.

What year?

the iOS app is in beta testing.

As is Race for the Galaxy.

Be careful what you wish for. Goko takes things out of Beta not when they function, but when they've lost all hope that they ever will.

I honestly have to wonder what the people there do. Why does it take them so long to achieve anything? Why do we still have issues like with Watchtower that should have been solved ages ago? It's like the game never progresses.

They're a small team who are working on Race for the Galaxy, therefore they achieve nothing with Dominion. I suspect they also made a frequently seen management mistake : we will develop product A and then development product B easily because we can just copy product A. That relies on product A actually being worth copying.

I'm on the the beta testing team. It is not ready for release, but the core functionality works just great. They haven't really told us whether we're supposed to talk about it, but anyway there's not much more to report.

We don't need it, the pervy maids one is out now.
That'll save me a bit on dial up costs!

Goko Dominion is like the estranged love child between Rio Grande Games and online strategy gaming. Where as isotropic was the older smarter sibling who was cast aside for no reason.

That's of course something no serious game development company would ever do...
