Just what is likely to show up in this contest? Post your predictions about entries, voting, trends, winning cards, whatever here.

I predict:

I predict...  That a card made by me in the Prosperity section will horribly flop.

I predict:
  • that the Base round(s) will have the fewest entries, and either Guilds or Dark Ages the most.

Since there will be no Base rounds, this prediction has already come true. Congrats!

I predict that in every round someone will unintentionally submit a card identical to one Donald tried and cut because that Secret History of Dominion is just so long no one finished reading it!

I finished reading it but I don't remember it clearly.  It is a haze!

  • Guilds entries will include a (possibly ironic) Tiller, and at least 3 Cheesemakers.

I think I will contribute one of those!

By decree, all cards submitted for the Guilds expansion must be named either "Cheesemaker" or "Cheese Destroyer."

I predict at least two more type combinations that have not been on any official card will appear.

...What are the plausible ones? (And by "appear" do you mean be selected, or just be submitted?)

Treasure–Attack seems like the one with the most room for development—and indeed, one has already been submitted.

Treasure–Looter (or Treasure–Attack–Looter) similarly seems fairly unobjectionable.

Victory–Looter is possible (x points per Ruins in your deck?), though it doesn't seem very likely to me. Action–Victory–Looter seems more plausible than just Victory–Looter.

Reaction on a card with more than one other type (Action–Attack–Reaction? Treasure–Victory–Reaction?) has nothing wrong with it in principle, though you'd have to take care not to let card effects get needlessly complex.

Treasure–Duration also seems reasonable, though it causes hairy rules interactions with Herbalist and a few other things.

Victory–Prize is a possibility if we do a new Prize, though remember Donald X playtested Victory–Prize and found it not worthwhile. ("Worth 1 VP per Prize in your deck"? Eh, it's just winner-wins-more, and probably balanced but not very interesting.) Action–Victory–Prize or Treasure–Victory–Prize could have potential.

I don't think Action–Treasure has a realistic chance of being effectively designed, though I guess anything's possible.

Anything–Curse is a non-starter ruleswise. A kingdom card saying "Setup: in games using this, replace the Curse pile in the supply with" could make a mixed-type Curse more feasible, but (a) LastFootnote's contest rules don't allow for this, and (b) this is what Looters and Ruins were invented for anyway.

We're clearly not seeing new Ruins, Shelters, or Knights.

Ruined Sir Hovel--$3
Action/Reaction/Ruins/Shelter/Knight

Trash the top card of your deck.

When you buy a Victory card, you may trash this from your hand.

I predict each of those ideas will be submitted at least twice in those contests :

=> For the first seaside contest : something alike "at the start of all your subsequent turns", maybe with a clause "discard this when ..." just like the Ongoing chips in Puzzle Strike if you know it.
=> For the alchemy contest : a card that costs 2 potions
=> For the cornucopia contest : a card that refers to prices
=> For the first Intrigue contest : a scout that comboes with itself
=> For the first DA contest (or the only one ?) : a card of type "Ruins"

And, in the whole remain of the contest :
=> at least 5 cards that share at least 3 types
=> the following names : Dragon (in 2nd Hinterlands, or in Intrigue), Elixir (in Alchemy), Assassin and Sacrifice (in Dark Ages), anything with "scout" in its name (anywhere)
=> at least two cards that requires to add an extra pile from invented cards
=> at least 3 "treasure attack"

And at least one card per challenge :
=> that requires to add an extra pile from pre-existing cards
=> that has a variable cost

Will it be true ? Or not ?

I predict that there will be a lot of completely crazy Dark Ages submissions, and that the winner will be less crazy than the average DA submission, but still crazier than the other expansions' winners.

With that in mind, I am now trying to make my DA card fit into just the right level of craziness.

At least 1 in every 10 entries for each set will try to make something work that Donald mentioned as not working in the Secret History of that set.

I'm sure this is true, but bear in mind that several concepts that didn't make it into early sets got fixed up for later sets.

Sure, but I'm thinking mostly of stuff that got dropped entirely or fixed in a different way - this will be particularly the case for Dark Ages and Guilds, where there was no later set to get fixed up for. I'll also predict that exactly one winner will be in this group.
