I was looking through previous Google Code Jam problems, when I found one called Pseudominion (http://code.google.com/codejam/contest/1145485/dashboard#s=p2&a=2). I first noticed "dominion" in the title, and then when reading the problem I was convinced it was modeled after Dominion. If you look at the contest analysis (answer spoilers) (http://code.google.com/codejam/contest/1145485/dashboard#s=a&a=2), this is indeed the case!
(Code Jam is a programming contest put on by Google.)
