Last night, Goko made Silver the Bane card for Young Witch. Weird.

Also there are 75 silvers in the supply pile? Where did that number come from...
When a Basic Card also get's promoted to the Kingdom, by the (goko) rules the pile gets dublicated. Therefore, there are 80 Silvers in the pile, 5 got bought (or gained otherwise), that makes 75.

I suspect there they get seen by people who talk to people who talk to developers, but well, at least it's in the pipeline.

I suspect there they get seen by people who talk to people who rarely talk to developers, but well, at least it's in the pipeline.

Dunno about that, but my opp apparently though Young Witch was a good card to run when copper is bane.

I had Masterpiece as bane yesterday. Possibly, it's not bug but anyway weird.

Yeah, the rules state that overpay cards cost their listed cost for cards that reference costs, easy!
So, Young Witch sees Masterpiece as just a regular $3 and Apprentice gives you 3 cards for it.

Yeah, I think so. Moat is +2 cards for $2, Masterpiece is a copper for $3. You can't really overpay for it in the early game, and even if you overpay, it's less likely to collide with your opponent's YW.

Moat as a bane is just funny, not necessarily bad.

Stonemason shouldn't be that great as a bane either, but significantly better than Masterpiece though ( because of the curse-trashing function)

f.DS taught me that if Moat is the bane, you should wait until they discarded their two cards before you reveal it.
