Title: "Quit rate"?
Post by: rrwoods on June 12, 2013, 12:29:44 pm
What does the Quit Rate represent on Goko?  I have a 3% quit rate from resignations (if it's evident I'm not winning why drag it out?) ... but does this % increase with timeouts as well?  I don't want my quit rate to indicate that I time out of a bunch of games...

[edit "Quite Rate" typo lol]

I assumed quit rate was ONLY timeouts. If it's resignations, too, that's horrible.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure that's how it is.

I thought it didn't count resignations in 2 player games, only 3-6.

It doesn't count resignations.

I have 10% quit rate, some few against bots, but most from freezes and crashs.

I find it hard to believe I've timed out of 3% of my games but I suppose anything's possible...

I have never ever quit a game, but I've had games freeze up on me and this has resulted in a 1% "quit rate".

I've never resigned a game, but I am sure I've had about 40 timeouts/freezes/crashes/blackscreens by now, and I still do have 0% quit rate.

Did you cause those freezes? Or did you suffer from them?

What does the Quite Rate represent on Goko?

It's a little bit Rate, but not really really Rate.

You can cause freezes on Goko?

If the game freezes because of you, it also freezes for the opponent. But you caused it and get the quit, the opponent not.

The game doesn't freeze because of me. The game freezes because of Goko.

Well, obviously it never freezes for some people. But it does for me. So it's probably some weird cooperation between Goko and my laptop, and I won't let Goko take the fame alone.
