Title: Crazy 10 turn game
Post by: Rabid on June 05, 2013, 03:56:10 pm
Just played this very powerful board:
Shows the importance of playing for the 3 pile win whenever possible.

Squire, Scrying Pool, Forager, Market Square, Wishing Well, Baron, Remake, Highway, Border Village, King's Court

I wasn't sure what to open (Squire or Forager?) but my 5/2 split made the decision for me.
I draw remake + squire together T4 giving me a early lead.

Combos:
Trashing + market square
Trashing + Squire to gain Scrying Pools
Remake + Highway
KC, + Buy, Highway

Hehe.  Look at your opponent buying a Scrying pool the old fashioned way.  What a moron.

My favorite bit:

Quote
Andrew Iannaccone   plays Remake
Andrew Iannaccone   trashes Gold
Andrew Iannaccone   gains King's Court
Andrew Iannaccone   trashes Gold
Andrew Iannaccone   gains King's Court

Too bad you couldn't draw them into hand and play them that turn, too! This was a great, speedy game.

At first, I didn't get this was a self-deprecating joke.  :-[
