I don't understand. This was what my opponent said to me right before they disconnected on me in this game:

I never managed to draw a blue or purple card the whole game! I feel like I was pretty unlucky, in fact. I scored 10 points with Clothing before my opponent mostly blocked me, and I got to use Paper to draw a single [4]. I really don't get why my opponent freaked out on me?

This just in: some people are terrible people that shouldn't be allowed to comingle with the rest of society.  Unfortunately, until that is properly enforced, we have to put up with idiots like that.

It's not his lack of civility that's the issue; I'm really confused as to why he even thought I was winning. My board sucked compared to his.

I don't understand either. Thought he got no score, his board is really good...... He still got a good chance of winning.
