I like that this one's a bit different (unless I've got this completely wrong). Trying to find the mountain so I can get started though...
Or a and cop surround it...
A...cop.
I guess this means we're searching for an older word than cop. Copper?
Edit: I'm looking at Copper Mountain, Colorado but I don't think this is correct because "Coast" doesn't really make sense there.
"a cop went" means nothing to me.
okay, so I think I've found the "cave", but not sure how far inland to go...or what to do from there.

oohh, breakthrough!
They are Google Map challenges...
If you have satellite images of the whole Earth stored in your memory, sure. Otherwise, it's a challenge that you solve by finding a specific place on Google Maps using a few cryptic clues.
2 questions:
1) can we not get spoiler tagged solutions once solved? It's killing my enthusiasm to try when we work on this as a team but only one person gets to revel in the knowledge.
2) am I wrong in assuming all of these are solvable without using Google/Google Maps? I've been assuming these are solvable riddles...
I'm fine with the posting of spoilered solutions once solved...I'm not sure everyone is?
Of course, now that you know how this works, you might feel differently? I dunno.
Maybe if no one has any objections we could post a spoiler of more and more specific hints leading to a solution.
Also, not sure what more clues I could give to this one without deliberately SPELLING it out.
You have 'a cop went' around, once you work out what that means the rest is pretty simples. And to give any more clues on that one would be just akin to telling the answer. its not as complicated as it sounds.

OK.... I like doing these things co-operatively but I'm going to post the progress I've made as a spoiler in case anyone wants to do it all by themselves.
Ozle says it is easy once you've worked out the first part but I've worked out the first two bits and I still haven't found the actual location.
The answer to the first line is an anagram of "a cop went"
Which is to say Capetown
I assume the first part of the line is some reference to Table Mountain but I don't really understand what.
Following up the coast we come to Grotto Bay
That is as far as I've got so far....
Oh yeah. Wellington is blindingly obvious now you point it out to me. I somehow still haven't managed to find the actual spot on the map though....
Oh, and who knew South Africa grew so much wine? Not me, obviously.
"Add a trip Inland till you need a new pair of boots" keeps making me think we need to find a place called Wellington, but they only exist in NZ and Florida as far as I can tell. Wellington, NZ is not inland, and Wellington, FL doesn't seem to have any mountains near enough.
Edit: There's also Wellington, UK, but once again there are no mountains.
Look at the satellite image in the first post. Is there something out of place? Once you've worked out what it actually is, it should be easy (and certain parts of the riddle will make even more sense).
This is why I'm bad at these. What the tizzy does "Add a trip Inland till you need a new pair of boots" have to do with Wellington??
And why does nothing at all look out of place to me?Look at the satellite image in the first post. Is there something out of place? Once you've worked out what it actually is, it should be easy (and certain parts of the riddle will make even more sense).
