Title: why I prefer echoes to base

Guy starts with clothing.  I keep drawing colors of the same color.  Then he gets fermenting which luckily I can remove with gunpowder.  He has like perspective and education and a massive everything lead.  Not every game ends like this, but I feel like the games in echoes have less of a "runaway leader" effect.  Just ranting I suppose...

Think about Almanac. A single card which stands a chance to draw an 11 with your board at age 3 only

(Clothing is one of the card that can kill you if you have bad draws, even at echoes)

Almanac is pretty slow.  You can interrupt it by forcing the player to draw or return hand cards.
