Title: How do you use the redemption card in Dark Ages?
Post by: Taco Lobster on December 25, 2012, 11:57:55 pm
Has anyone successfully unlocked the Dark Age expansion using the card that comes in the physical box set?  I entered the code, hit redeem, and nothing happened.  The Dark Ages cards aren't included in new games, and the Adventure mode for Dark Ages sends me to the store.  I can't find the redeem option anymore to try and re-enter the code, and I'm not sure if I just need to go click something to turn the cards on.  Any help would be much appreciated.

That's not what it's for.  The card in Dark Ages and the Base Cards set unlock a small sampler set of three cards.  That was announced by Donald X, like, months ago.

Sorry have not been following the forum closely, didn't realize that had been announced.  Thanks for the quick answer.

I didn't find it in the Dutch version (by 999 Games) though.

I don't know what non-English versions have it, if any.

What you get is 5 cards, one from each large expansion. When people could first use the card, you got 3 cards, because they hadn't programmed Dark Ages and Hinterlands yet. If the other cards don't magically appear for you when those sets show up though, that's a bug to be reported.
