I'll put the rules here later but the original way you played GoF was to play 3 games and sum up the gold total and the person who had the highest total won the set. I'm wondering if there is any interest in playing a set of 3 games, where the person currently in last gets to choose the boasting order for the next game (game 1 is random order)

Boasting.
When the game starts the post below will show the character/weapon combinations available. Here's how we'll do boasting. Let's use players Alice, Bob, and Carol
Alice goes first
Alice decides to take the ninja with a bow, she declares this along with any boasts she wishes to add (she does not have to)
Next Bob decides to take either a different hero or the ninja, if he takes the ninja he MUST add a boast. Boasting continues till all have a hero.
Example
Alice takes ninja with a bow without breakfast
Bob takes ninja with a bow without breakfast, and hopping on one foot
CAROL takes Priest with a staff
Alice takes Priest with a staff, with a hang over
Carol takes Barbarian with a dagger.
NOTE: Each hero can only have 1 of each type of boast
Combat. Once the Encounter is up before rolls are posted.
Use Weapon Token and Use Class Token are the respective ways to use your ability

While Juggling - After rolling subtract 1 from the total, Start with half as many weapon tokens as normal
With a Hangover - Roll 1 Less Die, -4 Defense, Discard this boast when you Kill your first Monster
One Arm Tied Behind Back - Any die's showing 1 and 2 are ignored treating them as 0's
Blindfolded - If you both kill & dodge the monster score 1 less gold.
Hopping on One Leg - -2 Defense
Without Breakfast - Start with 1 wound.

Yes to both, they are in fact seperate games, however whether you win or lose is determined by the sum of your gold across all 3 games.

The one thing that is preventing me from jumping at this chance is that I don't want to get my characters confused between games. Right now, I have a priest with a sword in one game and a wizard with a flaming sword in another. Fortunately I don't have to track the characters I had in II and III, but I'd be struggling if I did.
Although, IV will end soon enough, and VII doesn't yet have six players. I suppose I could be /in for this one.
And encourage Voltgloss to hop in too. The hard part is done early. Then you only have to worry about token expenditures, which are often no-brainers, though I guess having the wand does require actual interaction with the gauntlet.

Well, to be fair, it looks like the kingmaker-ness has hurt Insomniac's attempt to catch up to you. Although, the game becomes a lot more cutthroat with the scores being visible.
It's also a game of anticipating what the other players are inclined to do, which can be tricky because you don't know if they're going to go for the low-hanging fruit or the stars.
But yeah, Witch's Brew will be over soon, which will free up some players. I probably won't run another one right away, as I'm working on automating the moderation somewhat.

I haven't noticed any, like I'm in last and have not been actively trying to pick who wins, I'm still TRYING to win, thats why I didn't end the game.

Shrug I took the auto-boasts for mine so that you have to add a real boast that cripples the necro to take it IMO

BTW, for future games, I would suggest that the descriptions of class/weapon combinations be merged. It'd be easier to gauge the usefulness of a Wizard with a Cleaver if the entries were right next to each other.
Not that it matters to me now that I have this sweet ninja, but it'd be handy in the future, I think.

No problem. I know how hard it can be to track things at times.
-btw-, we've had 3 games running concurrently in the past. Right now there's only 2, and you're modding both. If there's interest in another, I can start it up. I have a tendency to move things along at a slightly faster pace - although I think I'll skip flavor next time. With all the updates, it's hard to keep up.

First off, I should not have received a Gold for killing that monster, he was only worth 1 and I killed and dodged.
Secondly, if possible, I would like to NOT use my weapon Token, since I'm dodging regardless, and so can't earn any money by making sure that I kill it. Thus my best play is to simply try killing it normally and gain an additional Die.

If I can find either the Magic Pool // Bee Swarm, along with the Giant Crab, then there will only be one thing left in the game that can hit me (damn Giant). As it is, I get sad looking at the list and seeing the number of things that can hit me at 20. I feel that this is a doomed adventure.

Just clarifying that I do not take double damage on this from the mummy because that only applied to the encounter with the skelephant. If that's true, then I gladly fight this thing. I'll use a weapon token if I miss it by 3 or less.

No, I know how it goes. Honestly, the truth is there ARE a lot of things that hit 20. At a guess I would say about 1/3 of the deck. It's easy to see those clump every now and then. The Armorer really does need just that little extra. Sometimes he gets it, sometimes not.
I can't really lament my choices earlier on though to throw 5 gold for Armor... It hasn't worked for me this round, but I still think it's usually the correct choice.

Wow, I still can't really believe I had the best round that time. I guess the Monk combines offense with defense, which is good, but I think it was mostly luck. I thought Kuildeous and Galz were in the best positions, but there's definitely something to be said for rolling cleanly.

In all honesty though there are some harsh boasts this round. Nobody walked away even close to cleanly. We could all get screwed out early by a couple of tough monsters. Ramp up will be a nightmare if we're unlucky.

FWIW, I'll let the mod know that I will not spend a token after the roll.
I'm not going to waste a token for a chance to get an encounter that I might choose to skip anyway. That way I guarantee that the next encounter is going to be a healing pool or gold vein.
