Hey guys, I think we should have a new Featured Article for the month of December, as well as a new Did You Know. So what should the next FA be? Isotropic (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Isotropic) looks good, but is missing content in some subsections under "History." Goko (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Goko) looks good as well and doesn't have any blank subsections, so dare I say Goko is better than Iso? :o

haha yeah those two articles are my babies, i've been trying to make them super detailed and cite everything. still a ways to go though, i think. i would recommend using another card page for now, personally. it is probably more likely to draw interest than an article about goko or isotropic anyway. i can't remember off hand which card pages looked really good but it would be easy enough for us to to all chip in to really improve one that is close.

I'm OK with leaving it up for now (maybe till January). I like WW's Duke article a lot, maybe that can come up next, but the wiki is only going public this week.

I second the Duke article. It's extremely well-written and thought-out, and provides pretty good insight into Alt-VP.

yeah duke looks pretty solid to me. we should probably split that big ol wall of text in the middle though.

Duke is definitely a good option. I was thinking that an Expansion article would make a good Featured Article soon. I also agree that we should probably wait until January, since the wiki is just going public.

That article has won me many, many games. I agree it is one of the best articles out there.

I went over the article one more time. No major changes need to be made, but I did add a quick intro section - as it was, the intro hinted at "the power of duke", but never actually SAID "7 duchies and 4 dukes score more points than all 8 provinces" until a few paragraphs down.
I think that makes it better, you can revert it if you disagree tho

I made it the featured article. How do we make a "previous featured article" table like on Wikipedia?

Seems to be a pretty standard page on wikipedia, at least on the German.
Could just export the current featured article/DYK to an archive with the bot. I don't run it that often anymore, but once a month should be guaranteed for the next time as far as I can see, and at least it does one more usefull thing beside playing formating-nazi and replacing card-templates.

So what's going to be the next featured article?

well we have had two kingdom cards so far, so maybe a different sort of article. a card combo? a strategy discussion? personally i would love to see the isotropic or goko articles up there but they could both use a bit of work before they got to that point.
