So, been meaning to do this for a while...
The plan.
Nominate Categories in the thread below.
Then once they are sorted this thread gets locked.
People can then send me nominations for options in all the categories, I will pick the most popular ones and put them up as votes.
Polls will close at Christmas.

Well, yes, that was the one I had in mind but surely there are SOME competing slips in our collective history ;D

Also, "Best Set of Night Actions" means something like, "most ironic set of dueling actions on Night X in Game Y." Example: the first no-kill night in M-IV.
I think MVI's Mafia Roleblocker eHalcyon (whose power fails against Werewolves) roleblocking Werewolf Jack-of-All-Trades Robz, who investigates eHalcyon, and dooms them both upon the reveal, is a contender there.

Well, but wouldn't help if in the categories of "events", people had reminders to choose from when casting their votes?

Im trying to condense a few here otherwise we'll have hundreds of spamming posts (And we'd need yet another seperate forum!)
Planning to have the cats done in a week or so.
All nominations in by end of November, and then actual voting in December with the results announced at the end of the year

It would, but I think its a bit uneeded, we got hundreds already.
plus I would rather it didnt bias peoples thinking when it comes to nominations!

Entries: Self-Incriminating Roleblocking in MVI; No effect Jailkeeping in MVII; Useless, untrustworthy, and outright incorrect Tracking in M-XII; Unused Investigation in M-XIV; Doctor Death in Blitz3.

Most Bastardly role in a setup has a lot of good contenders:
The seer in a game with no werewolves, even-night doctor/ odd-night SK, a cult called the Serial Killers, etc.

are the awards like Best Mafia, Best Townie etc supposed to be for an individual performance in a single game, or for a player's overall performance across possibly multiple games?

Not really, I want to keep that for the voting stage really.
I dont want the voting stage to be a foregone conclusion.

Not yet. And when we do, they are privately sent to Ozle who will compile them and place the top X number in a poll for that category. At that point we'll all vote.

Flattered! I think there was also some good doctoring or something by PPS in the second game I played, modded by O? But I wasn't paying as much attention by the end there.

Yeah that was definitely impressive, also impressive was Timchen using his 1-shot seer on the last remaining werewolf.
