Title: Testing the mini-set

It's really not as bad as it sounds.
You set out the cards on both sides of the phone line and play by voice.  Anything that would come up in a "text only" edition of an isotropic game, you just say out loud.  The game is changed negligibly if you refer to playing the 3 Coppers, a Silver and 2 Golds as "playing treasures to buy a Province and a Silver". With the treasures shortcut, it's pretty easy to explain what you're doing.

I can confirm that all that pops says here is true. We have played together on 2 or 3 occasions, and it is getting smoother every time. It feels like a hybrid of Iso and IRL, which is fine by me.
