I just learned about this the other day, and I can't find any posts about it on this forum. For anyone looking for a robust storage/transportation solution for their games (not just Dominion), check out this system on Kickstarter.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this product; there are enough "storage solution" posts here and on BGG that I thought I would pass it along for anyone still looking.

The Dominion configuration makes this super, super tempting...

Heh. If I wasn't in the process of being mostly done with my own DIY solution (I think of enough size to accomodate all the expansions up to guilds) then I'd participate. But still, seems expensive... I wish them the best of luck. Well, there's time, in the next 41 days I'll definitely know whether my DIY is good enough for me or whether I need a Keep.

"First run will be capped at 10,000..."
Gotta give these guys props for optimism.

On the Updates page (update posted today):
We met with the CEO of Rio Grande Games™. We were able to agree in principle to something special and exclusive for Dominion™. I will be working out the details over the next 1-2 weeks. I'm ecstatic about this!
That is quite intriguing...

Oh baby, an official storage solution? Tell me soon or else I'm gonna have to go buy those lame-o baseball card boxes for efficient storage.

If RGG gets involved then that will be awesome! An official Dominion storage option would be incredible!

I was hesitant about the "lame-o baseball card box" myself but I found one in my basement that was about 15 years old and it's worked perfectly. Should even have enough for Dark Ages and Guilds. And there are so many variations out there on the dividers that you can find one that fits your liking and actually makes it look a bit more aesthetically-pleasing. Of course, I'm cheap so I didn't want to pony up the cash for someone else's product.

Tempting... but $170? That's a bit much, especially sight-unseen. Actually, that's more than a bit much.

I understand that molds are expensive and all that, but there's no way they are raising 750,000.

Yeah people have gone absolutely kickstarter crazy after some of these high-profile success stories.
They really need to scale back their enthusiasm and redesign so this can be made without molding, maybe with laser cut or routed plastic/wood.

Oh wow, I hadn't even noticed the $750k goal. Hitting that means already being a big name, or having one attached. And in the meantime, Reaper's kickstarter, which was based on mold costs, had an initial goal of $30k. Order of the Stick started with a $60k goal. Starting with a $750k goal is ridiculous.
