Title: A sort-of-Puzzle/design thingy
Post by: Graystripe77 on August 15, 2012, 06:40:22 pm
Yes, I am awesome with topic titles.

The challenge:
Design 2 seperate kingdom cards that specifically name each other in their text, but would still be balanced without the other one in the supply.

Yea, that's it. Keep in mind there is no specific solution, nor clear winner. I just want to see if anyone can make such a concept work. Enjoy!

Yeah, this doesn't really go here, but I just noticed it and... is it sad that I recognize the golden ratio on sight below your avatar?

Well, I thought it was a challenge. This is the Puzzles and Challenges board, is it not?

And yes, that is the Golden ratio. I also know 155 digits of pi.

Thats nothing, I know a 1000 digits of pi! Just not the ones at the front

I know all the digits of pi!  Just not necessarily in order.

Yea well, I know them in order. And thus was not the topic. If you want, post a thread about it in general discussion. Or submit a solution to the challenge and continue to talk about irrational numbers. Your choice.

Violation
$5 Action - Attack - Reaction
+$2
Each player reveals cards from the top of their deck until they reveal a Policeman or Treasure.  They trash that card and may gain a card costing at most $3 less than the trashed card.

When you trash this card, gain a Policeman.  If you do not, put this card into your discard instead of the trash.

Policeman
$4 Action - Reaction
+$2

When you trash this card, gain a Violation.  If you do not, gain a Treasure costing up to $6, putting in on your deck.

Nice idea! I like the names too, they fit well.

This thread (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=176.msg1930#msg1930) already has discussed memorizing digits of irrational numbers (from the start).

I thought he also meant this thread... but anyway, I do think this thread would be much better suited for the variants and fan cards forum. But that's just my opinion, not trying to be the forum police and telling you that you can't post it here! :)
