Here's something you won't see every day:
— SpaceSquirrel's turn 20 —
SpaceSquirrel plays a King's Court.
... and plays a University.
... ... getting +2 actions.
... ... gaining a Feast.
... and plays the University again.
... ... getting +2 actions.
... ... gaining a Feast.
... and plays the University a third time.
... ... getting +2 actions.
... ... gaining a Feast.
(SpaceSquirrel draws: a Cartographer, a Copper, a Wharf, an Estate, and a Silver.)
Naturally, it was a 3 pile ending. Pretty sure we both played horribly in this game. Some kind of weird University group think or something.

Why do you do it turn 6?
-
Where to begin on this one....
This board is simply KC-Wharf+money with a Forge to trash the junk once you can KC-Wharf going. Unless there was an important attack that was being fished for I see no reason to buy Black Market, never mind 2 or 3 of them. Your opponent never buys any money, wtf???. Buying a Caravan from the Black Market? Perhaps the clincher is late game when your opponent uses Universities to gain Iroworks.

20 Turns with a wharf and no attacks... And neither of you get to a province. I'm a bit confused.

Wierdest...game....ever.

Wierdest...game....ever.
That's my take. Consider:
5 Black Markets purchased. Total cards purchased from Black Market: Caravan, Horse Traders, Crossroads, and... Pearl Diver??
Total cash purchased, other than potions: two Silvers, one Gold--on T14?!
Multiple Feasts purchased at $4, with intent to grab Wharves, but none used for Silvers.
Despite a major engine available, no player shows intent to build to Provinces or Colonies.
No offense, but were both players drunk here?

They were probably new players discovering the amazing world that is Dominion, buying everything and anything.
I'm surprised no one had a Harem, but then again, you can't get it through University.

>800 games and level 29 doesn't really indicate a new player, right? ;-)

Well, theoretically, one could have fluked 800 games, although the chance of that is close to 0%, but still NOT 0%. ;D ;D ;D

I've had a game where we both gained Feasts with University (and commented to each other how strange it felt).
In that case it was because we wanted to make Duchies of them.

Yeah, University > Feast > Duchy (or Duke) seems like a reasonable move lategame. Especially with Watchtower around.
