Lets discuss- Silver mine
Okay, maybe i am overlooking something but this is a horrible card. In games with potion this might be nice to never whiff with potion, but why isnt this an non terminal action that says gain a treasure up to 5? Without that, there are very little treasures that cost 4 or less that you would actually want. Or is there any saving grace for this card? When would you gain it outside of swindler? What is the best treasure to gain with it? Would you ever want this to gain only silver in a game?

Well, the main place you want it is decks where Silver is going to be a better-than-average card. So: money decks, slog decks, Feodum decks.
Other than that: Quarry can be a decent card to gain with it.

Quarry sounds like a idea, but that only really seines with +buy, which silver mine does not provide sadly.

My opponent grabbed a surprise potion and pivoted vineyard with it the other day.

It is virtually strictly inferior to Sculptor and thus a weak card in total random.
In Plunder it is a powerhouse.

But which of these cards do you want more than 2 of? I get it if there are 2 good treasures that cost 4 or less I the same kingdom as the mine, but that application is even more narrow than counting house.

Like all of the Ropes (semi-delayed Market that trashes)? Like plenty of Eggs to get Loot? Like lots of Abundances to build up or create funky megaturns?
I totally agree with you that the card is weak if it can only gain Silvers. But in Plunder it is anything but weak.

supplies, ducat and stockpile are pretty nice too. But in a purely silver game it's really bad.
