Title: Lich skipping
Post by: majiponi on March 11, 2022, 08:34:16 pm
What does "skip" mean?

Ex. Alice, Bob, and Cathy are in table.
T1: Alice played Lich.
Bob and Cathy played their turn.

1. Cathy says "Bob, it's your turn."
2. Cathy says "Alice, it's your turn. Oh, you played Lich. Skip your Action, Buy, Night, and Clean-up phase."

This matters when Bob plays a Smuggler. Does he gain something what Alice gained on T1?

I believe the answer would be yes. It would be the inverse of extra turns. E.g., if Alice had played an Outpost and gained a Gold, and then on the Outpost turn gained a Silver, then Bob's Smugglers could only gain the Silver she'd gained on her Outpost turn, because that's the most recent turn. So, by the same token, if Alice's turn was skipped, then her last turn would be the turn on which she played Lich

The skipped turn is completely skipped; there's no turn there (though it counts as a turn for the tiebreaker). Alice's last turn, for Smugglers, is T1.
