This might be a bug in the online game or a rule I'm not understanding:
From Game #66121914
I'm D.
Turn 6 - Kris8
K plays a Skulk.
K gets +1 Buy.
K takes War.
D receives War.
D reveals a Silver, 3 Estates, a Gold and 3 Coppers and finally Skulk.
D trashes a Skulk.
D discards 3 Coppers, a Silver, a Gold and 3 Estates.
K discards War.
I took War and the first card I revealed was a Silver, which costs $3. Why didn't I trash the Silver?
There was no price reduction in effect.
War is: "Reveal cards from your deck until revealing one costing $3 or $4. Trash it and discard the rest".

I learned recently that the log doesn't list the actual order that cards were drawn or revealed or discarded in; so the Silver wasn't necessarily revealed first. That being said, the Silver was still revealed at some point before the Skulk, so it definitely looks like a bug to me... unless there was actually cost reduction... Bridge Troll (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Bridge_Troll) is the only cost reduction I can think of that could have been there given the parts of the log you shared; since you can see that nothing else was played since the start of the turn.
*Edit* Ah, also Canal.

There was no price reduction in effect.
Sure there was. Your opponent had bought Canal.

Ah crap you're right. And then when I was reviewing it, it was my turn and I didn't have Canal so it was back to $3. Well, at least I cited the game # so we could solve it. Thanks!
