I haven't been playing Dominion for a while now, but I'm back. Did I miss anything?

A ton. There has recently been a complete paradigm shift in the way Dominion is played. The power of previously misunderstood cards has been revealed. We are planning on releasing a new set of top card lists but the general consensus is that scout, thief, pearl diver, and counting house should all be making appearances near the top.

Could you fill me in on this? HOW are they so much better now?

Chancellor is still pants though. Don't go thinking that just because Scout and Thief are now understood as the power cards that they truly are, that so are other cards that were previously thought of as terrible.

Don't forget Transmute. As we have come to understand, Transmute is a Big Money accelerator, a hard counter to Cursing attacks, and the vital terminal in any Action engine. "Oh... oh God... he played a... a... TRANSMUTE!"

Curses are now worth 20VP if the number of Curses remaining in the supply is odd.

Huh. I've always found chancellor to be a generally useful card.

Are Colony and Platinum considered basic cards?

I think I was still here right when they started the youtube channel. I look forward to watching all those videos!
On a separate note, I need someone experienced to challenge me for a couple games, just to see if I still remember how to play well.

Time, time area, day, month, year, seconds, minutes, hours, etc. are what I require if you wish to play me. I schedule by the second. I eat my food by the second I drink by the second. I even Consult my Chancellor by the second. It may explain why he is so bad...
Oh and, it is now revealed that Chapel is no longer the power card we used to believe it was. Yes, I am serious. And apparently Scout does have its usefulness. Oh and you haven't even seen the amazingness that is Soboteur! Sob because it makes your opponents Sob when played. Why do you think there is a request for an article on it? Because Soboteur is over powered!

Well, I'm usually available on weekends from 12-8 EST. Anytime during then, I can play. And someone tell me how chapel isn't a power card??
Edit: Wow, looks like I still got it.. 6 levels up in 2 days.

Have you been working on your (fan) card set in your time away from Isotropic?

Ahh, no, the fan expansion is on hold for now (Possibly indefinitely). In the mean time, I'm working on writing a book.
