I was thinking to post this on RBCI, because it's action is based on things that change between translations, but I think is not really that bad.

So, you could name „E“ to jump over Copper, Silver, Estate, Province and Canoeist to find Gold, Potion and Laboratory. Interesting!

It's not terrible, but it's pretty close to strictly better than Laboratory.
-
I'm confused about the name. What do letters have to do with canoeing? That said, you can prevent it from being strictly better than lab by renaming it to "Quick Brown Fox That Jumps Over The Lazy Dog". Though I suppose then people could choose Thorn or something.
Oh, and there are already plenty of cards whose behavior changes between translations.

Only due to accidental mistranslations, right? And perhaps the strange Patron (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Patron) issue.

The name uses the seven most common letters in English, but I don't think it matters too much.

That is brilliant naming actually.

Yeah, that was the joke. Though I didn't know there was a problem with Patron; is it because the word "Reveal" is translated differently on some cards?

Huh, I didn't notice that. Is that why that name was chosen?

Yeah, the idea was that if you want to exploit a common letter in order to get a specific card, it won't chain with itself, like hunting party does.
So, I threw ETAINOS in a scrabble word search page, put some comodins, and looked for the most dominionish word.

Some people had concerns because cards that all use the word “reveal” in English might not all use the same word-that-means-reveal in the translated version, but then Patron says that it only applies when the word “reveal” is used.
