Thanks to David Lu for continuing his great work on the goals.

I was just browsing the new achievements on my page and realized you could pretty well reconstruct not only the game, but indeed the final turn, from one of the achievements:

Gotta love/hate bully (depending on which side you're on): Played an attack every turn after turn 4.
I have it only once, poor opponent.

Talking about poor opponents, what about having to wait for a turn with 40+ actions: SuperActionStar.

I love the picture for Silk Trader.

Keep up the great work, many fantastic new features. :)

Imperial, i.e. scoring more than 100 points, has rollingsports1 leading with 32 games, but Archon, i.e. scoring more than 110 points, has rollingsports1 leading with 78 games (he is one of those who only seem to play a single kingdom over and over again).
Edit: Ok, the same issue with Blitz and Onslaught, and now I get it. But then it shouldn't say "100 or more points", it should say "between 100 and 109 points", and so on.

Oh, and WanderingWinder, you should do something to gain the lead at SilkTrader.

Most of those will be from KC though, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

Excellent work!  I'm very flattered to see my suggestions implemented (PrizeFighter and ChampionPrizeFighter).  And it's nice to have the rarest achievement.

Interesting data; it seems to support my conjecture that Blitz is harder to get than Onslaught, though I was wrong (barely) that Imperial is harder to get than Archon.

I wonder how many Bully achievements will be people playing Minion decks? In which case, a good number of those 'attacks' will be that dangerous move of playing a silver-equivalent (not saying that shouldn't be counted, of course, but it's worth noting). Having looked through Jeti's achievements (well, some of them) it does look like about 2/3rds are Minions with support(ing attacks).

I think ambassador lends itself to bully somewhat well with the right luck.

I like the new features and achievements, thanks for making it happen. I do have a question though about the Ultimate Prize Fighter achievement - can anyone tell me why the game http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20120122-223801-cd840838.html (http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20120122-223801-cd840838.html)  doesn't qualify for that? I seem to have gained all 5 prizes in one turn. Seems to be a pretty rare thing  :)

Ah lol. I just assumed they meant 5 prizes including duchy, but I knew there had to be a reason. Thanks. I'll try again

As an additional feature suggestion, I think it'd also be interesting to see achievement leader boards based on percentage of games instead of absolute number of achievements (with a minimum of say, 100 or 200 games played).  It'd be interesting to see you plays lots of actions, who goes for BM, who goes for mega-turns, etc.

Hello to all... still pretty new to the Isotropic site but enjoying it immensely, and I do like the achievement badges.  I hope that the Council Room is intending to add more, especially as I've thrown a heap of suggestions over on the uservoice board.  ;D

A few I'd like to see...
"Moneyball" - win with a deck made entirely of cards costing $4 or less
"Platinum Blonde" - finish with 5+ of Platinum and Gold and no other Treasures
"Walk-off Home Run" - come from behind on your last turn to both end and win the game
"Time Lord" - create a continuous chain of Duration actions lasting 11 turns (one per Doctor)

Then maye there could also be some goofier ones...
"The Donald" - Trash 3+ Apprentices
"O Canada" - Finish with exactly 10 Provinces and 3 Duchies (territories)
"Fringe Division" - Play a Laboratory, Stables, Potion, and 2 Bishops in one turn

Also thought you could have a set for racking up Goons points, Underboss/Mafia Don/Godfather etc...

Anyway, much fun!

Some fun ideas but Walk-off Home run would be way too many games. Thats gotta be like 25-50% of the games I play.

I'm pretty sure it is a reference to a TV show called "Fringe" (on FOX I think).  I don't really understand because I don't watch the show, but I know it is Sci-Fi.

Huh?

(the TV show "Fringe" wherein two of the central characters are Walter & Peter Bishop, and much time is spent in a Laboratory containing many Potions and one cow [hence the Stables])

That's a fair point.  Maybe a better version would be "Cinderella Story": Gain the lead ONLY on your final turn?  (so you would have to be tied/behind the entire game leading up to that)

Still happens a lot. If you make it where they'd gained no victory cards OR points before the last turn, or had the lead, then it's a bit more interesting IMO.

Hm, yeah... you could call it "Master Stroke" or something -- gain all your VP on your final turn and win

Was thinking over "Moneyball" some more too; maybe it would be "Won while never buying a card of base cost $5+"... so you could still Remodel up to expensive cards, which would be analogous to making some clever trade or deadline-day rental move.  But the central idea of "you can't just buy your way to the championship" would still be there.

Should that include buying duchies/provinces?

I think it probably should... after all you could still transform other cards into them.  But also, if you were going for a "Moneyball" win you could three-pile the game quickly and win on a handful of Monument/Bishop points, or buying an extra Estate early.

Or it could be "win while never buying an Action or Treasure costing $5+" I guess.

Should this be a MegaTurn?

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20120302-083352-7d32e416.html

I checked the Goals page:
http://councilroom.com/goals
It says "bought" all Provinces in a single turn, whereas I Governor-Remodel'ed to get most of them.  Is that why I miss out?

So uh, has anyone else noticed that the totals on the goals leaderboard page do not match the totals on the player pages?
Title: Re: New Councilroom feature: goal page and some new goals

Is the goals leaderboard page undercounting?

That's consistent with a crash where the goals analysis breaks before persisting the data.

http://councilroom.com/static/status/python_goals.py-2012-04-28-03:24:11.txt

I might not fix this for a couple weeks.

Uh, yeah I think the leaderboard is less than or equal in every case. Haven't figured out a pattern. Not a pressing issue - more of a novelty anyway...
