So my dad comes up to me complaining that the new dominion online doesn't support Internet Explorer. He and I have both had unpleasant experiences with Edge, and he has had bad experiences with most other browsers. As I understand it, many people still use internet explorer. Is there a specific reason as to why it is no longer supported?

Not a developer, just speculating.
I don't know if you're familiar with how exhausting and difficult it is to write in all the edge cases for web apps to securely and reliably work with Internet Explorer, but it is a huge pain. In many cases you basically have to write features in twice, once for IE and once for everything else. This quickly gets overwhelmingly messy. I think considering how it's totally free for any PC user to use any other browser, supporting IE isn't going to take precedent over something like mobile versions.

I'm a web developer. Fuck Internet Explorer. I wish all websites would drop support for it.
EDIT: Actually, just Facebook and Twitter should drop support for IE. I bet that's all it would take at this point. Maybe YouTube too.

IE is not a browser. It's a tool that helps you download a browser ;)

Edge is actually really good. I would rank them as Chrome > Edge > Firefox > Safari.

Opera a best. The new Dominion works wonders on it, too.
