Who wants to play a *long* game?
The random parts can be taken care of via die roll so the "moderator" can also play. I don't think we really want to play with 6 or 7 unless we want to be playing into 2018, so I'm going to cap it at five.
Who's in?
1. Kirian
2. Jack Rudd
3. ghostofmars
4. Orange
5. pacovf
Rules are here: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/95328/caverna-english-rules
Game spreadsheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pp1bGUYP2xi3--kRf3SOthWXr0kbuNBiQ3ZFmrDx1PA/edit?usp=sharing

/in from this Uwe Rosenberg fanboi.
-
can you tell a couple of words about it? :)

can you tell a couple of words about it? :)
Well, basically Agricola with no hand cards, a larger board, extra resources and more major improvements. Oh, and your family is dwarves who can equip weapons and go on expeditions to get extra actions/resources.
-
Is this sort of game really adapted to PBF? If it's anything like Agricola, a single turn is going to take ages, no?
Disclaimer: I have zero experience with PBF.

I'd expect it to take several months, yes.
Also, I'd forgotten I could edit people's posts. Oops.

Unfortunately I don't know Agricola either. Played it once in my life over 3 years ago and haven't since. It is complicated? More complicated than, say, Carcasson?

Uh... yes. Of the same magnitude that Civilization is more complex than Catan. Or that Magic is more complex than Go Fish.

Your second example doesn't really do Carcassonne justice. :)

Well, you can do significantly more planning ahead in Go Fish than in Carcassone.

/in ... would not mind a 6+ players round.
-
All right, we have five. I'm still working on the spreadsheets but we'll start in a couple days.
For simplicity, seating order will be sign up order.
-
Start Player Roll
Rolled 1d5 : 5, total 5
-
Based on that roll, ipofanes will start us off.
Stage 1 cards are:
1. Sheep Farming
2. Blacksmithing
3. Ore Mine Construction
What will be revealed?
Rolled 1d3 : 3, total 3

All right, spreadsheet is completely set up as far as I can tell. You should all be able to edit it, because this is a friendly game and we trust each other. Go ahead and choose a color for your tab (I call dibs on green!), then fill that color in as the background color for the "Used By" space in the line you've used.
Of course, also post here and tell us what you've done, so we know whose turn is next!
ipofanes starts us off!

Good stuff Kirian, and good luck everyone!

Dwarf 1 chose Growth.
Kirian's turn.

Excavation
Jack's turn

Drift Mining
Ghostofmars

Clearing
I also removed the "current" resources from the actions that have been taken.
Orange.

Clearing
I also removed the "current" resources from the actions that have been taken.
Orange.
Woot, thanks!
By the way, Orange, I colored your tab orange because it amused me. Feel free to choose something different :)
-
Small-scale drift mining
Since none of you made a mistake in the first action, I'll settle for ssdm.
ipofanes
-

ipofanes
Are there easy mistakes to be made?
-
I corrected the Beer Parlor furnishing tile description ("Pay 2G" --> "Pay 2Gr to get 3G").
Also, Sustenance.
Kirian
-
Forest Exploration
I'll update the sheet shortly.
-
Note that I've been marking the dwarves on the action spaces as 0 to indicate their current strength (which is 0 for every dwarf at the moment, obviously).
Spreadsheet is now in the first post for easier reference.
-
Let us go Logging.
Ghostofmars
-
Start Player
Orange
-
Imitation (2f) -- imitate Drift Mining
Costs me two food but I get it right back from the excavation in the upper right corner.
End of round.
Kirian please do your thing.
-
I seriously considered Imitating too. Alas.
--------
Everyone is cleared off the board, spots replenish. Ghost is now start player, and one of these comes out:
1. Sheep Farming
2. Blacksmithing
But which?? The suspense is unbearable!
-
Rolled 1d2 : 2, total 2
-
It looks like Blacksmithing comes out. Sorry, sheep. Next time.
It's ghostofmars's turn.
-
excavation
Orange
-
Ore mine construction
ipofanes is up
-
Clearing
Kirian is up
-
Ore Mining
I'm on mobile until tomorrow so can't mess with the spreadsheet. Can someone edit for me? Thanks.
-
Housework, build the Stone Carver
Ghostofmars
-
Growth
Orange, your turn
-
Blacksmithing
Spend 3 ore to arm my dwarf to Level 3.
Expedition choices: wood, grain, stone. Dwarf will be a 4 when he comes home.
-
Ipofanes?

I am very sorry for my inactivity. I should have known better that I am having great difficulties to play without the visuals I get during a ftf session. I'll try and limp along but wouldn't mind if somebody would take my player board, the sooner the better. I must apologise for ruining your fun by stalling, but it seems I am getting nowhere.

I posted in the replacement thread. If we don't find a replacement, would you still continue to play? As it is still quite early in the game, we could perhaps also restart with 4 players...
-
Not seeing replacements coming in. :( Should we start again with four?
-
I'm happy to start again with four.
-
I could potentially replace, if you are willing to wait a week for me to be less busy. But that's only if you prefer a replacement to starting again.
-
I'm happy with either.
-
Having seen no other opinions, we'll welcome pacovf into the game and take a week of hiatus.
-
Ok, I will get into the game early next week.
-
Well, first time playing this, let's see how it goes.
First player
Kirian's turn.
Do you mind if I add some colour to the spreadsheet? Would make it easier for me to see what gives what resources.
-
If I understand correctly, I can spend rubies to get (mostly) anything whenever I want, right?
-
If I understand correctly, I can spend rubies to get (mostly) anything whenever I want, right?
Yes, rubies can be exchanged into any resource, any animal, and any board tile. The two exceptions are cows (which cost an additional 1 food) and caverns (which cost 2 rubies instead of 1).
Also, nice job with coloring your board. I've stolen your color scheme :)
-
Thanks! Makes it easier for me to see at a glance what people are up to :)
-
Bump for Kirian
-
Drift Mining
Thanks for the bump, and apologies for missing it a couple days ago!
Do you mind if I add some colour to the spreadsheet? Would make it easier for me to see what gives what resources.
Go right ahead! Also copying your colors for the player board.

You may also use them to play a dwarf out of order. Your dwarves must be played from least-armed to most-armed, otherwise.
-
For the hell of it, I've put people's scores on their pages in the spreadsheet.
-
Just checking, do you have the right description for the beer parlor? It seems like it should also give the option to sell 2 grain for 4 food.
And does the mining cave work on uh "half-feeding" turns? EDIT: checked on bgg, apparently it does.
-
Depot
Pacovf's turn.
-
Sustenance
Kirian's turn.
-
Blacksmithing
Spend 5 Ore. Take 1 Stone, 1 Wood, 1 Boar.
-
Housework, build the Office Room
Ghostofmars's turn.

Ruby mining
Orange's turn

Excavation

I spend one Ruby to get one Vegetable
Slash and Burn
Kirian's turn
-
Clearing

Drift Mining, collecting 2 Gold from the Office Room.

Fence building
Convert 2 rubies and 2F into 2 cows.
Orange to finish round 3.

How do we organize the harvest?
-
How do we organize the harvest?
We can do it in the order in which people check out this thread. There isn't any interaction between players during harvest, is there?
convert 1 ruby to 1 field (getting 1F)
eat 4F
a new cow is born
I leave resetting the main board to Kirian.
-
That works.
Harvest 2Gr and 2V
Eat 4F
a boar would be born, except I don't have where to keep it.
-
Why did I think I had four food? I appear only to have two. Oh dear.
Eat two food and take two begging cards, I suppose.
-
Is there a harvest cheat sheet in the file somewhere?
Eat 4 food
-
Is there a harvest cheat sheet in the file somewhere?
Eat 4 food
There isn't, I thought about adding one when I wrote the "aid sheet" uh sheet, but did not know what to write exactly. what info are you looking for?
Why did I think I had four food? I appear only to have two. Oh dear.
Eat two food and take two begging cards, I suppose.
Yeah, I was really wondering what your strategy was, but well it's only my first game, I thought I was missing something.
-
I guess both the info from the board (which spaces have pre-determined end of round) and from the card showing the three things that happen when the red tokens are drawn. How many of each token and what has been drawn for the upcoming round would be nice as well.
-
Added that to the aid sheet.
Jack Rudd, remember to update your sheet!
-
Why did I think I had four food? I appear only to have two. Oh dear.
Eat two food and take two begging cards, I suppose.
You could also use your gold to buy 1F, then you only need 1 begging card.
-
Eat 4F
That was easy...
-
Well, actually everybody did their harvest, so I went ahead and updated the main sheet myself (also updated the armament of your dwarf in your sheet, Kirian, please check it's right). I believe Kirian and Jack Rudd did not update their food (and/or begging cards) in their own sheet, so please do that before your next turn.
Unless I am wrong, Wish for children is guaranteed to come out in round 4, right? So no need to roll to determine the new action card.
In the meantime,
Sheep farming, spend 2W for a small pasture and 1S for a stable
Dunno if it's a good idea, strategically speaking, but eh, sheep! They are so fluffy.
Kirian's turn
-
Updated.
Housework
And sure, I have some extras. Build Mixed Dwelling
-
So I think I can do this:
Weekly Market, spending all six gold
Buy four donkeys, immediately converting to six food
Buy two ore
-
I believe you can't. You can't buy more than one of each kind of thing at the weekly market.
-
Yeah, unfortunately the best you can get from the weekly market (in terms of food) is 4 food.
-
Fair enough. In which case I shall buy a Cow, a Donkey, and an Ore, cooking everything for 4 Food.
-
Sorry, I was unclear, you can get more than 4 food with 6 gold. I was thinking you had 4 gold for some reason.
-
You can get all the way up to 10 food, in fact, assuming you have the gold. You can't get better than a 1G->1F ratio, though (ignoring room shenanigans, or already having a donkey).
-
Fair enough. In which case I shall buy a Cow, a Donkey, and an Ore, cooking everything for 4 Food.
Yikes.
-
Haha. I haven't yet built the building that allows you to cook building resources.
Ghostofmars's turn.
-
Haha. I haven't yet built the building that allows you to cook building resources.
Ghostofmars's turn.
Just checking, but I believe that room only allows you to feed one dwarf per harvest that way. Warning you in case you were actually planning to build it.
-
Wish for Children
build a dwelling
Does the start dwelling count as dwelling for the purpose of the state parlor? If yes, please move my dwelling one cavern up.
Orange, your turn
-
I believe so, yes, but I am phone posting, so can't modify the Excel file.
-
Excavation
-
Forest Exploration
ghostofmars, I've moved your dwelling one tile up, as asked.
Kirian's turn.
-
Well OK, if you guys are going to let me have it...
Growth, Family Growth option.
-
It's hard to block in this game, no? What with imitation and all that. Seems better to just take whatever you think you need. Or are you just commenting on your luck?
-
Ore mine construction
-
Convert Ruby to 2F and imitate whatever Kirian is doing.
-

Commenting on luck. I couldn't have taken it with Imitation--I would have immediately had to take 2 begging tokens. (I have exactly enough food available to feed 3.)
-
Speaking of which, friendly reminder that we all have to pay one food per dwarf (no harvest) at the end of this turn! Remember to update your spreadsheets accordingly after orange's turn.
-
Start Player
Then immediately spend the 2 food to satisfy the end of round requirement.
-
Two food spent.
New stuff on spreadsheet.
-
eat a cow
-
I eat two food. Kirian, do you want to draw the new card?
-
I eat a food and a boar.
Sure, I'll do the roll.
1: Donkey Farming
2: Ruby Mine Construction
-
Rolled 1d2 : 2, total 2
-
Rubies it is.
-
And reminder we have a full harvest after this round, then we start rolling for those.
-
Orange's turn.
-
Housework
Guest Room
-
Ore mining
-
Sustenance
-
Depot
-
drift mining
-
During Harvest, the Field phase is before the Feeding phase, is that right?
-
Ore mine construction
Get a Boar and Vegetable on my expedition, which will become my 4 food for Harvest
-
Field is before feeding, feeding is before breeding.
I don't have access to a computer, I will update my spread sheet afterwards, but I will go to
Blacksmith
Spend 8 ore to get a weapon (the maximum)
Furnish a cavern with the Beer Parlor
Get a stable for free (on the meadow next to my pasture)
Increase the weapon level
Question, can you go to the Blacksmith just for the Expedition?
-
Question, can you go to the Blacksmith just for the Expedition?
Yes, it's an and/or.
-
Clearing
-
Imitate blacksmithing, spending 8 ore
Boar
Vegetable
Room: Carpenter
Immediately cook foodstuffs
-
I don't have access to a computer, I will update my spread sheet afterwards
Updated. By the way, my dwarf has a weapon level 10 now, not 9 (8 from blacksmith, 1 from completed expedition, 1 from expedition reward).
-
start player
Kirian
-
Hardware Rental
Take 1V, 1 Boar from expedition
Sow 2V, 1Gr
Immediately kill the boar.
-
weekly market
6G for 1 cow which I kill immediately, 1 vegetable, and 1 grain
feeding: eat 6F
breeding: 1 cow
-
I eat four food.
-
Oh right, it's harvest time.
I eat the 2 veggies I harvest, plus 2 food.
-
I eat 4 food
-
I will update my sheet when I get to my computer, but I
Reap 2V and 2Gr
Eat 2V (4 food)
Breed a Boar and a Sheep
-
I might as well roll the card and harvest marker:
card: 1 Family life, 2 Exploration, 3 Ore Delivery
Rolled 1d3 : 1, total 1
Harvest marker: 1-3 Question Mark, 4-7 Normal Harvest
Rolled 1d7 : 6, total 6
-
Family Life comes out, and Wish for Children becomes Urgent Wish for children
This turn, we have a normal harvest
Ghostofmars turn.
-
Thanks, Paco. I love being able to have multiple "moderators" for a game!
Also, early Family Life, gonna have big families.
-
logging
-
9 Wood for a single action... As an Agrícola player, I am a little bit disgusted. :p
-
Urgent Wish for Children
Or is and for me (Guest Room) so I will do all of the following:
Build a dwelling
Gain a dwarf
Get 3 Gold
-
Excavation
Kirian's turn.
-
Ruby Mining
-
9 Wood for a single action... As an Agrícola player, I am a little bit disgusted. :p
In a 3P Agricola game a month or so ago, I believe someone got 10 Clay in one action.
-
Drift Mining
-
Sustenance
-
Blacksmithing
Expedition for 2 Gold, a Boar, and a Donkey. Immediately convert the Boar into 2 Food. Also convert 5 Gold to 4 Food.
-
I use the Beer Parlor to convert 2Gr into 4F.
Imitation (spend 2F) -> Urgent Wish for Children
Build Simple Dwelling (B)
Kirian's turn.
-
Do we have a limit on the number of stables?
-
Do we have a limit on the number of stables?
Three.
-
Pay a Ruby, play armed Dwarf out of order
Ore Mine Construction
Expedition choices:
1 Stone
Furnish Cooking Cave
-
Jack, how did your Carpenter end up outside your normal border? You've only used the Office Room power once, right?
-
Do we have a limit on the number of stables?
Three.
Huh. Lucky that I asked, then, I thought it would be 4.
Note: the round table says we are in round 7, but actually we are only on round 6.
-
Isn't Family Life a Stage 3, rounds 7-9 card?
-
Shit, I see what happened. Someone moved Donkey Farming up... and then pacovf did the card roll for 7-9.
-
Urgent Wish shouldn't be available. So... we need to roll things back to that point.
-
Well, good thing I added the round tracker/turn order list!
-
Yep. Would the lack of availability have affected your first action, Orange?
-
Considering Urgent Wish was my first, yes.
-
Oh, derp. I guess that question is more for ghost.
-
I would still take the 9 wood. So you can rewind the game to after my first action.
-
Ack, very sorry every one :( I should have checked before rolling. Excavation would still be my first action, assuming Orange doesn't take it. Obviously Imitating Urgent wish wouldn't be my second.
-
Restored to after my turn.
Orange, your turn.
Sorry, restoring the spreadsheet killed the round tracker/turn order.
-
Wish for Children
Due to Guest Room, I both build a Dwelling and add a dwarf.
pacovf your turn.
-
Excavation
Kirian's turn.
-
Same as before, Ruby Mining
-
Still Drift Mining.
-
sustenance
-
Subject says Round 5 but it is Round 6
Blacksmithing
Expedition items: Donkey, Boar, Veg
Convert the boar, veg, and my grain to five food.
-
Well, I guess I will take Hardware Rental
Expedition choices: Stable (my third and last), Furnish a cavern with Simple Dwelling (B)
-
(In case my second action depends on it: are we assuming Family Life is automatically the round 7 card, or are we re-rolling?)
-
(In case my second action depends on it: are we assuming Family Life is automatically the round 7 card, or are we re-rolling?)
I'd say rerolling, because we shouldn't know what action would come up next turn.
-
Re-roll
-
Yeah, re-roll. Sorry again for the mess up...
-
Anyway, kirian it is your turn.
-
I do what I did last time, which was, um, oh right
Pay a Ruby to play out of order
Ore Mine Construction
Expeditions: Take Stone, build Cooking Cave
-
Let's assume the 1 in 3 chance won't come up.
Imitate Blacksmithing
Grab a Boar, a Vegetable and a Couple Dwelling
I'll eat the boar and vegetable at harvest time.
-
I'm on my phone so I'm not able to update the spreadsheet, can someone edit it for me.
Slash and burn, place the tile in three left to create a 2 space meadow
Convert 1 Ruby to 1 vegetable
Plant 2 grain, 2 vegetable
-
I'm on my phone so I'm not able to update the spreadsheet, can someone edit it for me.
Slash and burn, place the tile in three left to create a 2 space meadow
Convert 1 Ruby to 1 vegetable
Plant 2 grain, 2 vegetable
I think I did this the way you wanted.
-
Start Player for 1F, 1R
Since I'm both last and first and sitting here posting this, I'll do the inter-round stuff.
-
But everyone needs to do harvest stuff.
Cook 1V/1Gr for 5F then eat 6F
-
Everything is renewed.
Technically shouldn't roll until everyone has harvested and eaten though.
-
Reap 2V and 2Gr
Eat a Vegetable and a Boar
Sheep and Boars breed
-
Eat 5 food
-
Harvest 2 vegetables and 2 grains
Eat 1 F, 1 cow, 1 vegetable
1 cow is born
-
Yum yum, boar and veg. My food drops to 0 again!
-
So let's see. 1 = Family Life, 2 = Exploration, 3 = Ore Delivery.
Rolled 1d3 : 2, total 2
-
Need to roll for harvest too (there's three of each marker left).
-
And we need to decide whether this is a harvest or a ?. 1-3 Harvest, 4-6 ?.
Rolled 1d6 : 3, total 3
-
I get a newborn donkey during harvest as well.
-
I get a newborn donkey during harvest as well.
Newborn foal added.
-
I get a newborn donkey during harvest as well.
Newborn foal added.
I think that's one foal too many?
Full harvest this turn, Kirian starts.
-
Not sure if you guys are referring to me. I added my donkey, should be a total of 3 starting round 7.
-
Not sure if you guys are referring to me. I added my donkey, should be a total of 3 starting round 7.
Yes. You currently have four donkeys, not three. I think Jack Rudd understood that you wanted somebody to add a donkey to your sheet. I think it would be better not to change other people's sheet unless explicitly asked to.
-
Okay, I will change it to 3 later this evening.
-
Sheep Farming
Build one Large Pasture
Cuddly!!
-
Cuddly!!
I know right!? Pretty sure I got mine too early, and it's going to cost me the game, but who cares. Fluffy!
-
Wish for Children, gaining a new dwarf.
-
donkey farming, build large pasture and stable
-
Question: if you get a furnishing in the middle of an action (through an expedition, mainly), do you benefit from the furnishing for the rest of the action (i.e., the rest of the rewards from the expedition)?
-
Question: if you get a furnishing in the middle of an action (through an expedition, mainly), do you benefit from the furnishing for the rest of the action (i.e., the rest of the rewards from the expedition)?
I believe the answer is yes, much as you can use the first action of an expedition to grab the last stone/wood you need for the furnishing, then the second to build that cavern. So you should also be able to furnish, say, Seam, then take 1 stone and get 1 ore.
-
Makes sense, thanks.
-
Ore Mining
pacovf
-
Growth
Kirian
-
Slash and Burn
Buy a Veggie with a Ruby

Exploration
Get Boar, Cow, Grain and Vegetable. Cook the boar and cow.

Housework
Build a dwelling

Blacksmithing
Create level 8 weapon
Choose these 3 expedition rewards:

- Upgrade all weapons
pacovf

Also someone want to update the thread title to Round 7, or take the round out of the title?
-
Imitation (spend 1V to get the necessary 2F) to do Exploration
1 Stone
Furnish a cavern with the Breeding Cave
1 Dog
1 Cow
Kirian's turn
-
Clearing
Buy a 2nd Boar with a Ruby
-
Just to be clear, dogs don't increase the holding size of pastures, right?
-
Just to be clear, dogs don't increase the holding size of pastures, right?
Correct, just the holding size of empty meadows. I just dropped the dog there because why not?
-
drift mining
-
I believe I have the final move of Round 7.
First, I will spend a ruby for a single tunnel tile. Then, using Ruby Mine Construction along with my Guest Room, I will build two Ruby Mines and get one Ruby.
At harvest, I will breed a donkey and put him in a mine. Mining Cave let's me reduce my food needs from 6 to 2 due to the 4 donkeys in mines, and I will eat a Ruby for the 2 food needed.
-
I updated the Action Board. All with 3 dwarves at this point. Didn't roll for a new card or harvest token however, as everyone else needs to handle their harvests.
-

Reap 2V
Make Beer and slaughter a Boar for 6F, of which I spend 5 to feed my dwarves.
Sheep and Boar breed, and I get 2F from the Breeding Cave.

Ah yes. Ugh, I will have to spend my other ruby for 2 more food instead, so 6 food needed minus 3 leaves 3, and 2 rubies produce 4, so instead of a leftover ruby I have a leftover food.
-
I eat five food.
-
I believe I have the final move of Round 7.

Never mind, I was wrong.

I... don't think that's how the Guest ROom works.
It actually does! What you really mean is that you don't think that's how Ruby Mine construction works, but if you check the actual wording of the card, you will see that is a valid move.

Yep, I was looking it up online as you were typing :)
Yeah, figured that out when reading up on the Guest Room. Felt like a very Dominion-y rules interaction.

Converting 6 Rubies and 3 Ore into 16 points and 3 Food seems like a good deal and not something to weep for at all.

I know! I just wasn't expecting you to burn 6 rubíes in a single move.
EDIT: ah, I'll stop talking because I might be giving away info.

I know! I just wasn't expecting you to burn 6 rubíes in a single move.
EDIT: ah, I'll stop talking because I might be giving away info.
...but it's an open-information game. The only thing you could be giving away is your thoughts.
-
Well, yes, of course. If, say, I give away what I intend to do with my next action, then another player might be inclined to block me.
Mostly I am used to heavy table talk (I like the social aspect of board games), which tends to be ok IRL because people don't get potentially unlimited time to ponder their moves, but doesn't translate so well to PBF.

Can you use imitation to play the same space twice?
Yes. The only restriction is that you cannot imitate what you did yourself.
You cannot imitate an Action space that is occupied by one of your own Dwarfs.
[The imitation Action spaces] may all be used to imitate the same or different Action spaces.

Kirian did you update? Also your next dwarf is a 0, so expeditions will require a ruby to use a dwarf out of order

Adventure allows to arm a dwarf, so no problem there. Besides, his 12 strength dwarf has acted already. Unless I am misunderstanding your comment?

Double checked, everything seems ok. He spent 3 Ore to arm his dwarf before going on the expedition proper. He sold all his weapons afterwards (and did the same for the 12 strength dwarf earlier this turn). I updated the spreadsheet accordingly.

I don't think doing my harvest now gives away anything, so for Harvest:
Skip Field Phase
Eat 10 F
Breed S, B, D
And all that plant material comes home...
-
Jack's turn, then Ghost gets 2 turns in a row.
-
Logging, build the Writing Chamber
Skip Breeding phase
I think I eat 2 Veg, 2 Grain and 5 Gold for my 10 food. Wheee.
-
And all that plant material comes home...
It doesn't actually go home, you just count it as if it were, right? Otherwise I would be able to brew beer one more time.
Other question: is grain 1/2 point rounded up or down? Asking since you have an odd number of grains.
EDIT: it doesn't actually go home, and points for grain are rounded up.
-
Fun fact: If you click "quote" to quote someone's post and reply to it, and they edited it in the meantime, the system will quote the edited post, and not the one you're looking at. Interesting!
-
Guess I might as well do my harvest too, since I doubt it's going to change what ghostofmars does
Skip Field phase
Eat 8F
Breed Sheep, Boar and Cow, getting 3F (yay)
I thought the difference in score between Kirian and me would be larger, but he still wins. If only Jack hadn't built the Main Storage... :p
(to be fair, I was fairly lucky this turn, everything considered, so I can't really complain)
48 points from animals and related rooms, not bad! 60 if you also count the pastures.
-
I thought the difference in score between Kirian and me would be larger, but he still wins. If only Jack hadn't built the Main Storage... :p
Game's not over yet, man.

Updated. I had to check the rules, I thought a forest with a stable still counted as an empty space, for some reason.
Only missing Orange's last harvest to officially call the game over!
-
Skip Field Phase
owe 4 food, not 8, due to Mining Cave
eat 2 boars
breed everything
final score 80

Ok, so final score seems to be:
Kirian : 98
pacovf : 97
ghostofmars : 96
Orange : 80
Jack Rudd : 54
Congrats to Kirian for the win! And thanks for the game everyone, it was fun :)
Honorable mentions:
pacovf: most Imitations
ghostofmars: only one that never went on an expedition
Orange: least amount of food spent
Jack Rudd: most caverns furnished

Thanks for playing, everyone! I think the everyone-can-edit thing worked out really well, and this took a lot less time than I thought.
-
2-3 months. It really helped that there were some days when everyone seemed to be online.
-
Congratulations! Couldn't have been closer at the top. I'm glad I chickened out, even for kibitzing the visual cues were not enough for me to really follow the game.
-
Thanks everyone for the game.

I'd be up for another game if people want to play.

Too busy atm for a second round, I tend to spend too much time thinking about the game when I shouldn't. You people have fun!

I could be up for that.
Or down with that.
