Title: The Greatest Card -- QUARTERFINALS Voting Now Open

You have three days to select the winner of each of these matchups.  (Voting will end sometime Sunday.)  The 16 winners in the Preliminary Round have advance.  There were two ties--I chose the winner of each tie.  Yes, I gave myself that kind of power.   ???  I'll try to time the end of future rounds with an odd number of votes.

Just post the 8 winners in a list please, with any commentary outside of your list.  Use whatever criteria you like to select the "greater" card/event of the two.

Colony shouldn't even be considered. That's obviously the most important card in the game, outside maybe Dominate if we're talking VP cards counting as end game.

Depending on the results of the voting, I think we need a slight reseeding. If these 4 make it:

They should be reseeded as:
Champion
Teacher
City Quarter
Disciple

Champion & Teacher are the endpoint of the travelers. CQ and Disciple are the two villages that can double your handsize. Those matchups make way more sense!

I love Fortune, but Chapel is just supremely useful, and has had more of an impact in my games than Fortune.

Errr...quite true. Copied and pasted from my list, and then I guess I just ran with the mistake. Doesn't matter anyway because Madman didn't win.
