Title: throne room rules
Post by: Alcabez on June 05, 2016, 12:19:45 pm
Hello I am new to this forum and relatively new to dominion and I had a question about the rules on throne room. Can throne rooms be played on each other? I had a scenario recently where I had 5 throne rooms and a festival in my hand. If I could play the throne rooms on each other then I would end up with 64 coins. Am i understanding this correctly? If not, what would the end result of 5 throne rooms and a festival be? Thank you!

Playing a Throne Room on a Throne Room allows you to play 2 other actions twice. It does not allow you to play one action 4 times. 5 Throne Rooms and 1 Festival is not a very good hand, it only gets you 4$ and 3 buys.

Yes you can throne room  a throne room. However, that does not play a single action card four times, it play two action cards twice instead. So your hand will generate four actions, four coins and two buys only.

It is still often useful to throne room a trone room since it saves you actions (only the first throne room costs you an action)
