I've never actually been on a good board for Highway before, so I was pleased as punch to build a Hamlet/Watchtower/Ironworks/Upgrade/Highway engine on this table, successfully exploding into turns where I could Ironwork multiple Provinces per turn.
And so my opponent apparently rage-quit and left me with the timeout. Thanks, dude!

I played the last 2 days two boards with Highway and Market. On both games I tried to setup a mega-turn engine. I think I played sub-optimally and it weren't really dominating strategies, but it was so much fun to setup.

Don't let the rage quit get you down. That is a beautiful engine.

Playing so well that an opponent feels the need to quit is a wonderful feeling. Not that I am advocating rage quits. And seconded, that is a pretty sick engine you built.

Yesterday I built an engine with Hamlet, Alchemist, and Torturer. My opponent resigned (with warning) merely because each of those cards took SO LONG to play on isotropic that my turns took forever.

Yeah, I've resigned from my share of Hamlet games for that reason...
