Season 7 will run from the 30th of March until 3rd of May, and you can sign up until Friday 27th of March.
If you want to join or return to division B, sign up before Sunday 15th of March.
This thread is only for new players, not for people already in the League.
If you want to stay after season 6, please post an "I'll be back" message in the scheduling thread of your group after you finish your last match.
If you want to join please post a message stating
- your username
- your timezone id. You can look it up in this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones) list.
For example, mine is Europe/Amsterdam. - your preferred level. Your options are:
a) I'd prefer to play in the bottom division
b) I'd prefer to play as high-ranked as possible.
If you decide to join, you commit yourself to playing 5 matches of 6 games each against different opponents.
Please don't sign up if you have doubts about this. Leaving mid-season hurts the other players in your group.
Everybody is welcome, except for players that left mid-season without a good reason.

(my normal goko pro-rating vacillates between 4000 and 4600. if league administrators would prefer a higher placement fine.

I'd love to join the league but I have a small problem: I gave up online/phone games for Lent, and won't be able to play my first match until Sunday April 5th. Will that stop me from being able to participate?

This shouldn't be a problem, the flexible schedule of the league allows for things like this, as long as you get your matches played during the season everything is fine :)

Also, Stef, when making groups, please note that I have not played (due to Lent) for a month, and so my ratings on both Goko and the isotropish leaderboard are not accurate. I usually am around 5800 - 6000 on Goko, and Level 40ish on Isotropish (although that might be off, since I rarely look at that).

Goko ratings aren't used for division placement, and isotropish doesn't have any sort of rating decay with time (you are just barely below level 40 there).

If we both get seated as high as possible (and in different leagues) and you feel underrated, we can swap seats, if you're so focused on this level thing.

Yeah, seems to become the most challenging season so far. Exactely one seat is open. I'd like to watch some more relaxed, extra-long streams. So, jump in :)

Excited to see what the divisions look like... this could be crazy. Also the new expansion comes out during this season, hmm. If by some miracle Goko implements the new cards, I assume we can use them?

You were late but also lucky, because we still had 1 free spot. It will be in D division though, not E.
Based on your level (17) that should be ok too, since it's approximately level 20 separating D from E.
locking the signups now.

I made a mistake accidentally putting a player in season 7 that clearly stated he didn't want to return.
So that means we have one free spot at D level after all.
