Title: Champion Match Commentary

If you're interested in providing Champion Match commentary, please PM me.

In particular for this season (Season 5) I'd like to find people who are available when the match is (Sunday February 1, 20:00 UTC).

It would be nice if you were available some time in the evening (Eastern time) this week to do some practice with commentary.

I'm hoping to simplify this process by not making a poll every time and finding a small group of people who can get more comfortable with doing commentary.

I'll be available at that time to commentate, but if the usual suspects are willing to do it they should instead.

Some of the usual suspects are rather preoccupied at that time.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I'll contact you when it's time to look for people to commentate on matches. I'd like to get a few people good at this, and hopefully there will be lots of time to practice between now and next champion match now that we have some direction with this  :)

I have considerable experience with commentary, as I run a speed chess stream a couple times a week. Current schedule is Tuesday/Saturday at 4pm UTC. See http://twitch.tv/chesswhiz or archived episodes on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/ChessWhizTV).

I'm not a top-tier Dominion player by any means, but I could probably provide some fun color commentary by casting alongside an expert player.

Note that I won't be available for this Feb 2 match.

Something I think I want to do is to get some practice doing commentary with those people interested. Lio, IWB, I see you in my streams a lot of the time so that's probably a good time to do it.

ChessWhiz, if you want a shot at commentary I certainly want to give that to you. What's the best way to try and coordinate a time for this? I usually just stream whenever I can and I don't have much of a schedule; we can send Forum PMs?

@AdamH Forum PMs sound great. I think it would be a lot of fun to join your stream sometime with beginner questions / commentary. Just give me a heads-up when it might happen, and I'll see what I can do. Forum PMs work for me. Thanks!
