?? - Action - 4$
Dig for an Action card. Play it twice.
If you have more cards in your hand than in play, trash this.
(dig = reveal cards from your deck until you reveal X, discard the other cards)
what do you think? the restriction is pretty much PoE of possible conditions, so there's no grand plan behind it. It's kind of a semi one-shot.

PoE?

PoE = process of elimination
Seems like it's pretty hard to keep. Even in an engine, you have to a) be able to play in late in the turn, and b) Not have drawn too many cards.
-
I think it might be fine without the penalty.

a TR that can't be drawn dead and has a pseudo card? I really doubt it.

yes. I think it's often a one-shot. Which is okay, because it's really good. well, maybe I'm overestimating it a little bit... it's hard to say. I thought it's interesting that it anti-synergizes with draw effects.

Completely apropos of nothing, my younger daughter is saying "That's Fluttershy, but she has bat ears, so she's a bat" in regard to your avatar. Also, "I can't see Rainbow Dash's cutie mark very well."

Rather, I think you can think of it as a Sage that also plays the target card twice. That would be WAY too good for $4.

yea, agreed. but with the penalty, it's most likely not too strong. I think I'll try it.
-
The penalty is awkward and I think too harsh. I'd try it at $5 without the penalty.
-
well we have to disagree here, if someone showed me the card without the penalty for 5$, I'd just be like "eh, it's kinda boring". not trying that. this is more about the penalty than about the effect itself. being awkward is kind of the point.
it might totally be too harsh though.

I originally read this as "an erotic mix" and thought someone else had written some fanfiction.

The Golem grunted as he worked, slowly but surely and with unnatural strength.
"Come inside me!" the Throne Room seemed to cry out.
The rich red fabric was warm and inviting, for the Prince wanted to be a good host to his future supplicants. It wasn't long before the Golem had brought in all the new decorations. Oh, how the Prince loved Remodeling!

Put this in a deck with sufficiently many nonterminals (which is where Golem variants tend to shine) and the penalty will likely never happen.
This one could be amusing if it calls itself up.

The interaction with Feast is interesting. Runner up to Procession, I reckon.

It's worse than Throne Room though, isn't it? Throne Room trashes the Feast from your hand and gains two cards. This trashes the Feast from your deck, gains two cards, and then probably trashes itself as well because Feast is no longer in play.

It's probably not great with feast, but it is good with a bunch of other cards. Like, RS/Ambassador is clearly better than double ambassador. Overall, I think it's much stronger than I initially thought.

I'm dumb :(
