Where can we post when Salvager is reporting incorrect ISO levels? Mine is working fine, but I've noticed some players aren't.
Yoshiball (JPN) is always at -9 when actually 33
Ok-2- has changed goko rating from 4600 to 5300 and is always shows lev 16
Light Yagami is always lev 15 when really 27
TOTO_TOTO is reported as -12 by Salvager when really 12
I suppose I can just make mental notes of these, but fixed ratings might help them get more games.

So, he played like 10 games? ;)

This happens when people change their usernames. It's because some parts of the project use player hash (as they should) as a unique id while other parts still use player name (which is horrible).
I've just been hacking the code for people who notice and ask me to fix it specifically for them, but the right solution is to make the database do everything with player hash. It's a fairly involved problem though, because the logs only record player names. I think it's been discussed in the Isotropish thread somewhere.

so how does this work? does salvager take into account games from both accounts, but the leaderboard does it separately? and how do fixes work?

The leaderboard tracks each player by username only. When a player changes his username, it thinks that's a new player and starts them at the default starting rating. That's because the logs don't have player hash or any other unique identifier... only usernames.
A "fix" means linking the new and old player names so that the server knows that they're the same person. That creates a whole host of other problems though.

what happens when you change your name back, does everything go back to normal?

I think that the stuff you played as the other name is never incorporated into the original name, if I understand correctly.

Yes, the server never knows that you changed your name; if you change your name then change it back it just sees two different players, one of which didn't play for a while.

Ah, sorry, I have caused myself the same bug.
When I created my account I started out as my full name as my username because I used Facebook to login and have since changed to my current username "Jake the Yak".
Are you able to fix this?
Thanks.
