I am being slow played right now :(
He is doing one click per 4 minutes.... :(((
I am the only one with Possession (3x) and Potion (1x) and the board also has Masquarade.
"seriously" is his goko username.

I cannot believe you waited an hour for this moron. Why didn't you just quit and blacklisted him? Is a bit of ranking worth an hour of life?

But seriously, as long as you have something else to do e.g. a book to read or some websites to browse, finishing the match and then blacklisting them seems like a reasonable option.

Yeah, last time I posted about a slow player I just grabbed myself a drink and turned some good music on. The good part is that we all +1 your posts here, so that's yet another advantage to waiting a slow player out.

You still need to check-in every 4 minutes to play or realize the opponent is still slowplaying. I cannot think of an activity that is not disturbed by that many interruptions.
But, the main point is, the rating does not matter at all!

+1s do not matter either. I just use them as a more efficient way to express agreement than a whole new post. I believe that the "respect" count actually hurts forums. And it is seriously (!) misnamed. Respect???

My forum respect opinion is not this strong. I'm pretty loose with my respect giving.

I have just put the game on second monitor and did something else on the first one. No more than a minute lost during that hour.

There's a browser extension (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=11570.msg407305#msg407305) that names it VP instead of Respect.

If it were meant to convey respect, it should be associated directly with the person, and not the post. There are people that do not deserve my respect whose posts are eventually good enough for me to want to +1 them. A simple aggregation of all the +1s in all posts by a given person, or other similarly simple indicators like +1s/# of posts have nothing to do with the respect they have earned in the community. Thus, misnamed.

This happened to me a few days ago with the same person ("seriously")! He was complaining about his bad luck, started calling me bad names, was very insulting and slow played me. After a while I just quit the game because I don't really care about some points less or more.
I just found the page where you can report people and I'm gonna do that now...

I am being slow played by a player named Liquido right now.
Unfortunately, I think what made him so mad was that I built a fortress/bishop deck. I can get VP chips from here to infinity but ending it is another matter.
We have been at it for about an hour with no end in sight. maybe I'll take a few days off work and go to the mattresses.

If you're far enough ahead in VP, then it should be possible to buy out the Fortresses, then Bishops, then Curses, and finish out the game in <=30 turns that way. If you're about even in VP and gaining it at the same rate, well, I'm sorry. :)

He finally gave up. It was about one hour and forty five minutes in. The problem was that with the three or four of bishops I was playing, my turns took fifteen to twenty minutes as well.
All that for 20 Goko points. It just made me so mad that I got stubborn.
